The Madrid Courtyard Apartments - Madrid Management

"5 Stars. I can’t believe my luck in finding this place. I moved here in 2017 and have been very happy. First & foremost I feel safe living here. It's a gated courtyard and Nick, the manager, does check references. He called my employer so I trust he’s done the same with the others who live here. My neighbors are great! It’s a quiet complex & I rarely hear my neighbors except on summer weekends when folks are out enjoying themselves in the pool. There's a good variety of ages of tenants from young singles to retired folks. Most of them are kind, friendly and very helpful. There’s even a “free table” where residents put items they no longer want or need. I’ve scored a bedspread, crockpot, iron & ironing board, a cute little sewing basket, dishes, & clothes hangers. Management provides all utilities and takes such good care of tenants they already had the A/C system turned on by the end of March! Several years ago the A/C was having some issues and they had it fixed in less than one hour! Amazing! The A/C, heating unit was recently replaced (2022) with a new unit keeping us very comfortable year round. Nick shows pride of ownership in renovating these apartments & built a lovely Pergola with a built-in, charcoal briquette, BBQ grill next to the pool area for added shade. I much prefer the smoke flavor from grilling with briquettes to that of propane gas. My favorite part of this apartment is the kitchen. It has a gas stove, dishwasher, and plenty of cabinets/storage making it very convenient. I’ve actually been cooking more now that I live here and that’s saying a lot with all the excellent restaurants within walking distance. The laundry room next to the pool is nice, clean & large with a folding table. I’ve never had to wait for an open machine and Nick keeps the washers & dryers in good working condition. These apartments are pet-friendly, they have covered parking and for those w/o a car there’s a bus stop close by on a major bus line (16 & 60)."

"I absolutely love this place the Madrid apartments Nick the owner very very nice person friendly. All the neighbors are very friendly. I love this place. I don’t ever want to move from here. It feels like my home the Madrid apartments if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to live. Then this is paradise for you everybody the apartments here are very beautiful the neighbors very nice people. The owner is very very friendly and everything is close by shopping centers you got restaurants and everything very beautiful neighborhood The owner cares about everybody that lives here at Madrid apartments. I don’t ever want to move from here. I love it here. Thank you Nick for letting me live here for so many years. "This complex is an older place with great charm. Some things to be aware of if you didn’t know is that with utilities all included you don’t get to choose when it’s cool air (chiller) or heat, the landlord does. Once you learn how Nick works and does things life at The Madrid is easy. Pool is always clean but lacks comfort of furniture as well as charm. Loved my neighbors, good social mix of young and older."

"I just moved out after living here for 7 years and I'm gonna miss this place. Super quiet and well kept property. Nick is a great owner/landlord. He does all the work himself and does a great job. Rent is very competative here and lower than most other places in this area! I highly recommend The Madrid to anyone looking for a place in the Biltmore area. 5 stars all day!"

"The Madrid is a wonderful place to call home :) About a year ago, I was looking for a place to live on my own for the first time, so I searched all over for something reasonably priced and safe, but wasn’t having much luck until I came across these apartments. They offer great studios, which I was thrilled to find, in addition to one bedrooms. I got a studio and it has the perfect amount of space with a smart layout that provides lots of storage with well-placed cabinets and closets to keep you organized. It has been more comfortable than I could have ever imagined with a nice sized kitchen and bathroom so that nothing feels cramped. The grounds are excellently maintained and management is awesome. Nick is highly responsive and there really are no hidden fees, as mentioned on the website. The location couldn’t be more perfect too. It’s calm living on 16th Street, yet you are surrounded by so many unique restaurants and businesses nearby. Also, you can easily access the 51 freeway, so that you feel connected to all parts of the valley. The residents are friendly and there’s always plenty of parking spaces. The AC and heat work great, so I’ve always been comfortable. No pest problems either. I don’t think my review does The Madrid justice, actually, but I thought I should try in case anyone else is having trouble trying to find a place to live. There are so many expensive luxury apartments that are being built in Phoenix now that it can be discouraging when you are looking for a place by yourself on a modest income without ending up in a high crime area. The Madrid provides a restful spot within the heartbeat of the city and I am very, very grateful to live here."
