Lumina on 19th Apartments

"We pay $1500 a month & the AC hasn’t worked in MONTHS. Their excuse is that it’s cold outside so we don’t need the AC yet the apartment is so hot, especially when we use the dryer. The fans just cycle the hot air from the dryer. It’s absolutely ridiculous how they can just turn off our AC but still make us pay the same amount monthly. Not worth it. This is the first apartment complex that literally shuts down the AC. So ready to get out of this hell hole. Not to mention, the apartment was so dusty when we got it. Lint EVERYWHERE near the dryer. I better get my deposit back bcs I made sure to take pics of everything when I moved in. If you could go anywhere else, you should! $1500 a month for a small and hot apartment is NOT worth it."

"I have lived here for 5 years, and can only say good things about the NEW management. Virginia has had her work cut out for her, but has been responsible for improving living here by 200%! Devon, Giselle and Sarah have all been kind and helpful. The maintenance team is improving things as fast as humanly possible, and I am very happy with my choice to renew for another year."

"DO NOT RENT HERE. Living at this apartment complex has been a nightmare. Rent is over priced. Apartments are disgusting. The property is roach infested and the amenities offered are false advertisement. They control the AC and turn it off and the AC is trash. The on-site laundry room is also always dirty and disgusting. I never once felt comfortable doing laundry on-site and always did my laundry off site. Management is also horrible. Everyone in the office must be slow, it’s insane. Virginia the manager is lazy idiot that does not know how to review inquiries in a timely fashion. Took the idiot more than 2 months, after my move out, to look into damage that I had reported when moving in and that I had also submitted a maintenance request to get repaired. Management did not do their job properly and the damage was never repaired by maintenance, yet I was still charged. The corporate manager Jill Kravitz is also horrible and does not know how to manage the properties she is responsible for. I had reached over to corporate for assistance regarding the issue mentioned above. I was informed that she would look into the issue and get back to me but no am further action was ever taken. Unsure on how these idiots retain their position in management. Please save yourself the trouble and do not rent here. This property is money hungry and will try to steal every penny you are worth. 0/10 would not ever recommend. 0/5 stars. This place is TRASH and everyone in management is TRASH."

"These Apartments are really nice, paint looks fantastic inside apartment, so do the base boards, everything was and still is very clean when I moved in on January. the carpet looks great. they look just like the models. I had a problem with the refrigerator and it was fixed the next day before I got home. beautiful scenery, the mountains are great. a nice part of Phoenix. I love it here. All the staff are so friendly, they explained everything to me , answered all my questions."

"I do not recommend these apartments at all. Came in more than 2 months prior to my move in date looking for a renovated studio and was only shown pictures of the bathroom and those pictures didn't match what I saw on my move in date. I had to wait until my literal move in date to see the apartment and when I was able to see it there was construction on both sides of the apartment, maintenance was inside fixing my ac which was evidence that they do in fact have an issue with the ac breaking and the apartment looked run down inside and out. They also have horrible police reports in the area so this is not a safe place for singles or ladies in general. Avoid at all cost! I expressed my safety concerns and frustrations with not being able to tour my apartment or a similar style and I just got a good luck on your search and sorry. Not even a refund for wasting my time. These apartments are super small, unsafe, unkept and known to have ac and water go out. I was even told that maintenance can take a long time to fulfill request. This apartment is not worth your mental health or safety. Avoid at all cost!"
