"The Halston is a beautiful place to live and extremely clean and safe. However, if you any issues that need to be resolved, deal directly with the Manager who is very helpful. The front desk person, Angel won't help at all but will talk over you as well as have an attitude."

"The Halsten is the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life. If you decide to live here good luck trying to sleep if you get a unit on the front part of the building. If the noise coming from Chauncey social night club along with random drunk people screaming and puking outside at 2am doesn’t drive you nuts then hearing your neighbor doing anything even sneezing will. The walls in this building are so thin you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. It was so bad in my apartment I had to break my lease and let them completely gouge me with fees. But wait there is more. Most of the people who live in this building are very inconsiderate and leave their trash out in the hallways for days when they miss the weekday trash pickup. My hallway seriously smelled like a trash landfill 24/7. There is also some sort of building sewage issue going on because they have to spray the hallways with an over excess of air fresheners to cover up the sewage smell. With all of this being said the price they are charging for these units now is comical for what you get. Stay away from this place unless you want to have serious regret."

"During my research process I toured many luxury properties including Optima, Vitri, and others. After thorough research, 3 visits to The Halsten, and careful consideration I chose The Halsten and am very happy I did. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the rooftop amenities are top notch with great sunlight and sunrise/sunset views, and the neighbors are all very friendly. The business center is a huge bonus for those of us who WFH and want to have the option to use a meeting room or office from time to time. Since moving in I realized just how stellar their customer service is -- Angel, Siera, Mason, and the whole team are all outstanding. Simply world-class customer service. Brian and his maintenance team are prompt, professional, and reliable. I couldn't be happier with my decision. P.S. The location is awesome too - restaurants nearby, Whole Foods, Life Time Fitness, easy access to the 101 freeway, and tons of shopping just minutes away at Promenade, Quarter/Kierland and Desert Ridge."

"Lovely building, lovely amenities but terrible experience when my lease ended, they hold part of my deposit for charges that I don’t recognized (I.e breaking my lease before contract end date when I did paid the 15 months of my contract, among other inconsistencies), also they promised 1000 dollars credit for my first month of rent that I never received. Explanations from finance team were so complicated that not even management understood. Good for living, administration issues."

A year after, we needed the Halsten to complete some forms for our new apartment application in LA, and Angel was so kind and prompt in helping us out. The Halsten really takes care of their residents…even after they move out! :)"
