"The move was easy, Lorenzo the manager was great! Everything has been good minus the cigarette smell coming from my neighbors apartment and people not picking up their dog poop. It’s been a nice experience."
"*Karen and Lorenzo were extremely helpful while I was moving out so in no way this review is directed towards them* If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First of all, this is absolutely not a safe apartment complex. They lied and told me it’s a gated community. However the front gate has been broken for over a year so anyone can get in. There were multiple break-ins of cars and even a shooting where someone died. Second off, we had such a consistent issue with bugs in our unit it made it unlivable. We had roaches and fruit flies that never seemed to go away. We reported the roaches multiple times, and management waited over a month to finally do something about it. Then we were charged for the fumigation (which did nothing because it was an issue with MULTIPLE units). We had pest control come multiple times and nothing seemed to help. While maintenance was quick to fix things. It would be nice to know when they were coming over. Oh and they left our water heater on our patio until we moved out, even though we asked when they would come back to remove it. Management will also give you the wrong dates for treatments. And make you lock up your animals for multiple days at a time for inspections, least they could do is leave a note when they’ve came into the apartment. Also the washer smells horrendous. Highly recommend choosing ANYWHERE else but here. The rent is cheap due to all of the issues that come with this place."
"Went from a decent place to live to roach-infested and inept in a short amount of time. A few reasons why me and my girlfriend moved. Not in any specific order. Reason #1: The water heater in our unit was malfunctioning and causing a giant spike in our electric bill. It was always drawing scalding hot water at all times of the day - effectively acting like we were running a hot shower 24/7. We shut off the breaker to the water heater for a couple of days and measured the KW/H during that period of time and the electricity levels went back to normal levels. We repeated that experiment multiple times and highlighted the activity for them. It took months and months of convincing that something wasn't right. They eventually replaced the water heater, the thermometer, some cables, with a lot of reluctance. No one cared at all. The problem still persisted and they stopped even pretending to care so for months, we basically would shut off the electrical breaker to the water heaters ourselves for most of the day. So whoever moved into that unit is definitely experiencing an exorbitant electricity bill. Good luck. Reason #2: Our neighbors were harassing us and we didn't really feel all that safe. Multiple gunshots on a regular basis. Cars emptying magazines and then speeding off. Fights happening in the parking lots over stupid stuff. Our mailbox was broken into twice in a short span of time. Cars were messed with. Not worth it. Reason #3: The overall cleanliness of the complex. We had roaches in our apartment for years. We weren't dirty people, it was just everyone had them. No one picked up after their dogs. And even if you wanted to, there were often times where there weren't any dog bags available/the dog trashcans were overflowing. The trash cans were always nasty and ripe. The only thing I liked about the whole place was the marketplace. The Mexican family who ran it were really nice. That's the one positive."
"For the area it’s actually a pretty good place and nicely priced, we had moved from Sierra Ranch at Tatum and Bell and that place was a dumpster fire from hell compared to here. Compared to there, when we have an issue here it gets resolved, we don’t have to hunt down maintenance to get something fixed. We’re paying about the same amount for a much bigger space 2x2 than we were for a small 1x1. We really have no major issues with the unit we’re in, the little things are easy fixes that we don’t need to call maintenance for. Like covering the windows during winter/summer as they’re single pane windows. We did have to call maintenance for our washer/dryer because the vent hose was nearly nonexistent, but they came out and fixed it without any issues. Our hall bath toilet kept running and they fixed that too. I do agree with others about the appliances not being replaced or at least repaired before move in, our microwave had a piece broken off but it still works, the dishwasher is pretty outdated but still works, and the washer/dryer mostly the washer smells even after trying everything, but both still work and clothes coming out of the washer don’t smell. I don’t expect them to replace everything with brand new appliances, maybe when they kick the bucket, but at least go through and make sure everything is good to go. Like the other complex we were close to shopping and I love having Fry’s just across the street. If you don’t feel like going to a big store then there is also the market place in the middle of the complex, the staff are very friendly and you can also have your packages delivered there instead of to your door. The complex has four pools, the biggest one being behind the leasing office, with a hot tub, grills, and a splash pad outside of the pool area. The condition of the roads in the complex are not the best, this isn’t a problem for us as we have vehicles with ground clearance, but lower vehicles beware. The front gate also never closes, the back gates sometimes do and sometimes don’t. I did have someone force my car window open, but that’s all they were able to do, nothing stolen, however I have heard from others that they have had their vehicles fully broken into and stuff stolen if not the vehicle itself. Unfortunately crime happens everywhere. From what I’ve seen, most people do not pick up after their dogs despite the fact that dog bags are available to do so. It really isn’t that hard to do and it comes with the job of owning a dog. If there are not any bags, because they do run out, then you can always get some from the store or in bulk from Amazon, they’re really not that expensive either. Be respectful of your neighbors by being a responsible dog owner and pick up after your dogs. Another issue is kids leaving their trash everywhere and no one watches their kids, our old neighbors had some kids vandalize their door and our shared walkway. Thankfully after talking to the parents and reminding them that there are, unfortunately as everywhere else, predators in the area we never saw them again. Landscaping does start pretty early, however they have this whole complex to do and little time to get it done before it starts to get hot out for them. The best time for landscaping to start is in the early mornings. Overall this place is reasonably priced and much nicer than others we had looked at in the area. There really is no perfect place to live, unless it’s the middle of nowhere and has all the amenities, everywhere is going to have something wrong with it. Until we can find a way to stop investors from buying up everything and ruining the housing market, this is what we have to work with."
"Zero stars. When I first moved in, everyone was nice and I thought it was cool. A few months in, their true colors started to show. I went months with a leaky ceiling and no hot water after submitting multiple maintenance tickets. They didn’t reimburse me a dime. I literally had to walk under a leaky ceiling to go to my bedroom or use the bathroom. When I moved out, they charged me $170 for a 2 inch stain on the counter. This is after I paid around $300 for a cleaning service for a stress free move out. Let’s not forgot the shooting where my car got shot up and I was on the hook for $500+ in repairs for a shooting I had nothing to do with. The complex didn’t notify us that a shooting took place and the next morning I walked outside to see a dead body next to my vehicle. I tried so hard to work with management and maintenance but they rather be rude and money hungry than to express empathy and fairness."
