Cobblestone Apartments

"Where to start on my experience living at Cobblestone apartments for 11 months... Now I say 11 months because I canceled my lease due to constant smoke filling my apartment from the unit below. The amount of cleaning damages I incurred from this was high. It's not easy removing smoke odor from anything.. Then you let it sit in it for 11 months because you have no other options, makes it worse. I had to throw away my bed, couch and some clothes. Smoke smell is still stuck in all my wooden furniture. This was a day 1 problem reported to Cobblestone (May 9th 2023). Finally the problem became unbearable so Cobblestone did the right thing by letting me move out 1 month earlier (New manager seems promising). Now to explain what living in these apartments is actually like no sugar coating. The summer was great, pool was closed from NO chemical treatment (picture attached). Then once they got that figured out it was closed due to vandalism. Gated complex, gate didn't operate for over 6 months of my 11 months. Which was really neat specially with the homeless shelter next door at the La Quinta (operated by the City of Phoenix). You get to make friends with the cops because they are constantly called due to the large volume of car break-ins. Car damages weren't too bad when the gates worked. Thankfully, they never got my car but I work nights. Leaving for work at night you would often find people digging through the dumpsters. They aren't dangerous people.. just looking for things to sell for drugs. Cobblestone does give you a number for a paid security company they hired... So Cobblestone did the right thing about that.. Security company is just never around. I used to call them to report these problems, often times they would tell me they already did their drive by and left for the day. They advised to please just call 911.. As a group of renters in my complex we were always calling 911 for the people breaking into cars and stealing our Amazon packages. One dude actually lived in the apartments. Cobblestone struggled to evict them so cops were out almost every other day for that guy. He was violent and even entered an older couples apartment while they were sleeping (I believe the older couple moved out after this incident). Hopefully this information I provide can help you decide on your next apartment. Thank you for reading! Best of luck!"

"Our maintenance guy Greg is the most friendly and helpful maintenance man I've ever had. Plus the property is beautiful with amazing pools, big green lawn, courtyard and walking path. The gals in the leasing office are also very nice and helpful. Love this place!"

"I lived in a lot of different communities in the Phoenix area and this is one of the best! I love the landscaping and how it maintained. The office manager Naydia, is amazing, she answered all questions even when asked them repeatedly, which showed how patient she is. When I moved in she checked in on my family and I to assure that we were pleased. The apartment is HUGE! much larger than my last two bedroom and for a lot less. I really think that I'm going to enjoy my time here, I know I will be a long time residence."

"I went in to ask questions about this apartment complex, since it’s my first apartment, and I was helped by Elizabeth. She was super helpful and knowledgeable. She made me feel very welcomed/comfortable. The staff was nice and everything was clean/kept up. I appreciate the help I got from her and I most definitely will recommend these apartments to my friends who are also looking to get a new place! I appreciate how friendly the staff was, because not a lot of apartment complexes have the friendliest staff, but Elizabeth definitely changed my opinion on that."
