"This community is family ever since I moved here from out of state. They are welcoming and supportive when trying to do the move. The maintenance guy Alonzo will be apart of your family and help with anything you need. If you need something done, he immediately helps and makes sure it’s done right. Mackenzie, Delphina, and Kelly are the absolute best and work day in and out to help you. They go out of their way to prevent and fix problems, and they care about your existence and to make you feel at home. I can proudly say I live here and will continue to live here for more years to come. There are really great people here and they are very friendly. They are definitely the heart of the reason this place is outstanding. I greatly look forward to the coming years renting here."

"The apartment complex is gated, well kept, and everyone I’ve interacted with there has been wonderful. Kelly, Mackenzie and Delfina have been amazing, and so have the maintenance guys around the apartment. They’re very proactive and get things done quickly and efficiently. Rather than just being a tenant, your well being is genuinely important to everyone working here. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice, friendly, and safe environment!"

"Where to begin? I'll start with yappy dog. For over a year I have listened to the dog in the apartment behind me bark, and howl, and whine for hours at a time. It is clear the dog is being left alone and howls until its owners return home which seems to be about 10:30pm. I finally got tired of the noise and complained to the property manager. The yapping stopped for about two days. I complained again. Still barking. I have emailed the property manager. No response. This brings me to my next complaint. Voicemail messages and emails go ignored on a regular bases. I usually give up and go into the office to talk to management face-to-face. Number three: I have been here two years and am being asked to sign a lease for a third year. I was told by the property manager that my current rent is above market by about $100. She thought it was great news that they were not going up on my rent. If I'm above market, will they come down on my rent? No. What if I sign a longer than 12 month lease? No. Will they throw in my washer/dryer for free? No. If I weren't so close to work and didn't want the hassle of moving, I would not stay here. Number four: I usually pay my rent a month early. I tried to pay my Dec rent the first week of Nov. The website was completely changed. The button I needed to click on to make my payment didn't work. Again, no response to my emails inquiring about the problem. I went into the office. The manager had absolutely no idea that corporate had updated the website and confirmed that yes, that button doesn't work. How does a property manager not know that the website for her property has been revamped? Seriously!? Two weeks later, the problem with the button still has not been fixed. It is 10:45pm and the yapping has not stopped. I will try to go to sleep now."

"This morning Phoenix received one of those rare but much appreciated downpours. Appreciated if you don't have a leaky roof. I have a leaking roof. I've had one for over a year, almost two. The first time I notified property management, maintenance came and declared the leak was caused by a backup in the A/C pan. They assumed this because the leak happens at the return air vent. I knew they were wrong because of the recent downpour, but didn't argue. Two more rain showers, two more visits from maintenance, and finally the maintenance man admitted that several of the complex's buildings needed roof repairs and they were trying to find a contractor. Lucky for me, it doesn't rain much in Phoenix. Problem forgotten until today. I guess they never found a contractor. Yappy dog is at it again. It barked until 11:00pm last night. I was going to call security. At my last apartment complex, I could call and get option 1 for management, option 2 for maintenance, and option 3 for security. Oakridge does not have an option 3. Apparently, the security gate is supposed to keep the bad guys out. The gate is so slow to open and close, three or four cars can easily tailgate in. Last night there were three cars in line waiting for the gate to open. So long as a car gets up close enough to the gate before it closes it will open back up. Ringling Brothers could parade their entire circus through the complex before the gate closes. Due to circumstances beyond their control, property management was closed today. How convenient. I feel bad for the young lady who works the front desk. She thinks this is the correct way to run a business. Heaven help her if she ever ends up with a job in a truly professional environment. She won't have a clue what to do."
