"Beautiful gated community with a gorgeous pool and hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet but comfortable and diverse. People have been kind and welcoming much like the office staff, would highly recommend."

"Don't waste your time or.money on this place. As many people have already mentioned, cars get broken into here, including mine. The management doesn't enforce any restrictions on dogs (even though their lease outlines restrictions), they also don't enforce people picking up after their pets and there's dog waste EVERYWHERE. This not only disgusting, but can spread diseases to you and your pet. When walking my dog I was chased 5 separate times by off leash/out of control dogs. I still have panic and anxiety when I take my dog for a walk. My downstairs neighbor was attacked by a dog that jumped through the window screen while he was walking his dogs. I thought many times, why am I paying over $2,000 a month to live in fear and surrounded by literally dog waste. I made the mistake of putting down the full refundable deposit which they took almost every dollar of. They charged me to replace the carpet --that had no visible damage or stains-- because they said their were stains on that "underside of the carpet." Not only that, they charged me to re-carpet both rooms "so they wear evenly" and for the remaining life of the carpet which they claim is 60 months. I've seen several apartments get re-carpeted upon move out so I'm assuming they pull that stunt with everyone. In the 16 years I've been renting apartments, NEVER in my life have I even heard of an apartment complex 1) recarpet for "stains on the back side" and 2) charge for "the lifetime" of a carpet. Absolute insanity. Apartment complexes go up on every corner in Arizona, trust me when I say, you can find as nice of an apartment (for possibly cheaper) and with more to offer and avoid this catastrophe."

"Please don’t move here. First week I moved in, my car got hit in the parking lot. Two months in, my medical package got stolen from my door. My gate key doesn’t work although I’ve gone to the office multiple times. Homeless people wander through the neighborhood at night. Really unsafe!!"

"I just noticed San Capella has 3.9 stars and that is definitely not fair. I moved in a few months ago and am very happy here. The community is beautiful and very well maintained. Management is knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. I live by the pool area and it is alive with activity and happy people. I recently stayed at a favorite resort and our "resort" at SC is actually nicer - I couldn't wait to get home and hang out by our pool. The only thing missing is a cabana boy serving mai thais!"

"I lived here for a year. The area is convenient as it is near grocery stores, restaurants, and other convenient establishments. Maintenance is always on time and gets the job done and staff is nice. The major issue is the amount of homeless that free roam the grounds at night. My car was broken into twice and the cameras are only located overlooking the office. I'm not even sure how often the courtesy officer runs, if they do at all. The community updates you on missing packages or suspicious people. I had to rely on my own security measures to ensure the car was never broken into again. I can't say that I recommend the establishment for the price."
