"As a retired preschool and elementary school teacher with two grandchildren who attended the WIlkins Learning Center, I would like to share a few observations about my grandchildren’s experiences at the school as well as my impression of this school’s exceptional approach to early childhood education! To begin with, my grandchildren thrived at the WLC! They loved school, they loved their teachers and they loved learning! It was also clear to me that the school’s approach to early childhood education had an enormous impact on their social and emotional growth, on their pre- academic skills and on the development of far reaching general life skills which will stay with them forever. While my grandchildren attended the WLC I was fortunate to have a number of opportunities to casually observe the WLC while the school was in session and at special school events. Each visit to the school or to a school event convinced me that everything I observed was based on a sound and broadly accepted educational principle, which as an educator myself I firmly believe in! This profound yet simple principle is that children develop and thrive best in a learning environment where they feel loved, respected and valued, while being engaged in meaningful and fun learning experiences. I believe that this is a principle that lives in the overall fabric of the WLC and as a result is creating learners who believe in themselves, are helpful and compassionate friends, understand how to work with others, are able to solve problems, are well prepared for their next steps both in school and in life and are filled with an eagerness to learn! Well done Wilkins Learning Center!"

"An amazing school that has an incredible environment for children where there is a love for learning. Mrs. Ross, the kindergarten teacher, is simply amazing. We love everything about Wilkins. Our son is thriving academically and socially and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend both their preschool and kindergarten program."

"My 5yo daughter has gone here since she was 3 and absolutely loves it. The teachers and director truly love each child. The building is warm and cheery with recent artwork of the kids on the wall. The classrooms are never overcrowded. My daughter is now in kindergarten at Wilkins in Mrs. Ross's class and she is phenomenal. She is so loving but also keeps the classroom on track and the kids happily on task. We were planning to repeat kindergarten with our daughter because her birthday is in July but she's learned so much we had to find an accelerated kindergarten so she wouldn't be bored next year!"

I searched for a long time and seeked out referrals from other Moms for the perfect Pre-K and finally found it at Wilkins! Our son loves to go to school every day. He is thriving and happy and I have peace of mind knowing he is well taken care of while I am at work. Their teachers, staff and administration care so much. "My four year old daughter goes to Wilkins and I couldn't ask for a better experience or environment for her. Sharon Wilkins really went above and beyond when she created this little slice of heaven for our young ones. The staff at Wilkins are always so wonderful, helpful, loving, and they really care about every child that steps foot in the building. Each and every one of them. Stefani and Channell, you guys are awesome, we love seeing your faces every morning! Every single person that works at Wilkins always takes the time to make sure my daughter feels special and loved, regardless if they are her teacher or not. I feel so comfortable and safe leaving my child at Wilkins every day because I know they will take such wonderful care of her. I would highly recommend this school to anyone and everyone looking for child care and/or preschool education for their small children. All you need to do is take one tour and spend 10 minutes with the staff to know how special it is. Trust me, you will not find a better school! Love it, love it, love it.
