"The no-brainer is that this place is in a beautiful spot with amazing views...but there's an overwhelming vibe of pure relaxation and peace. Lots of cozy spots to enjoy a beverage or read a book. The staff was so sweet, always smiling and offering if we needed anything. Anna, the head housekeeper, is gem and should be protected at all costs! The breakfast was way above average, and if you are staying during a cowboy cookout, make sure you pay the extra for it, as the food and ambiance were quite perfect! With only 20 bungalows it always felt like we had the place to ourselves. The bungalows are rustic, but the bed was comfy and honestly, you are not going to spend too much time in your room. Horseback riding, kayaking, a heated pool, tons of lawn games or just taking in the beauty and wildlife will have you not caring one bit about the rustic accommodations! I hope to definitely return but next time we would like to spend 3 nights instead of 2!"

"We did not stay the night but attended the Cowboy Dinner…one ok guy with a guitar. I thought it was going to be more interactive. Campfire singalongs, old-time country music. Food was good quality but cold. Maybe it was the line, but there should be a way to keep it warm. Views were beautiful. People were nice. They cook these huge steaks, then give you 3 slices. For that price I expected good, hot food and more entertaining entertainment."

"We just got home for a 3 night stay at the SLGR. It was perfect. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating for all of us. We had needed a lot of assistance with a handicap member of our group and they did everything they could to help us out. The grounds were impeccable and the view was out of this world. Many amenities on site horse back riding, hiking trails, a pool, games for the kids. They offer breakfast with your stay which was wonderful every day. They do cookouts on select nights which is an additional charge but well worth it for the food at perfect atmosphere. I came back recharged from this trip and I owe it mostly to this ranch. Thank you to the Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch for this amazing place."

"Wow, where to start? This place was simply amazing. It exceeded all of our expectations. I found this gem on Instagram and started following. After a while I know we had to plan to stay here as part of our trip to Arizona. The setting is just spectacular. The ranch and grounds are immaculate. The main house with sitting and dining areas, games room, etc, was so warm and welcoming. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food and the cowboy cookout were experiences you have to try. The hiking trails and kayaking were the perfect day activities. Sitting on the porch of our cabin at night with a glass of wine and staring up at the stars was the perfect nightcap. I could go on and on - We loved it!"

"We went to the Valentine's Day dinner which was open to the public and had a great time! The dinner served was wonderful, very well prepared! Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but thankfully the dinner was moved indoors. Everyone we met who worked there was warm and inviting and the building is very cozy and inviting. And those views of the mountains are really something! We had a very nice time and hope to get to visit again sometime."
