Hyatt Place Phoenix/Mesa

"Overall this isn’t bad. The room is spacious. The AC is a wall unit and could be better. Everything is just a bit old which is why it’s getting 4 stars. For $250 a night I’d expect a bit more polished."

"My family and I stayed at the Hyatt to attend spring training games at Sloan Park. We made the reservation through a third party. Check in was very easy. Our room was on the first floor near the fitness room and ice machine but it was still very quiet. Room was a nice size and we had everything we needed. Housekeeping is only every other day which is fine with us. I liked that we had real mugs for coffee and glasses for water. I also like that the toiletries are in large dispensers in the shower, not a bunch of little bottles to throw away. Breakfast was included and was very good. Real plates, bowls and silverware, which is much more pleasant and less wasteful. Lots of options, including fruit and eggs and oatmeal with toast or bagel. Not just a lot of packaged sweets. We used the hot tub every day and enjoyed. My biggest gripes are the ones I have with almost every hotel: the room will not get cool enough to sleep under the bedcovers they provide and the bed was not as good as the (10+ year old) mattress at home."

"I could not believe the cheapness of this place especially considering the price we paid. Water is no longer free but you have to pay for it. There are no toiletries so if you accidentally forget your toothbrush you can buy one for $50 downstairs. The hot tub was swarming with toddlers. They even lock the toilet paper in! The cheapness is far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced."

"This seems too be a mid grade place too stay. Price was fair. 20 minutes too airport. Close too Mesa as we had family there. The room was a bit dirty as the rug was sticky. Some stains on walls. Towels are itchy and kind of smell. The pool was nice and warm. Hot tub was large and met lots of nice people in there. The desk staff are friendly and informative. Its noisy sometimes as you can here your neighbors and theres construction across the street. Breakfast was well stocked and a great start too your day!"

"We arrived on a Friday evening to a super friendly greeting from the front desk. We called for an iron, towels etc and they came within minutes. Breakfast was great!!! They didn’t run out of food and the eating area was large. Every single front desk personnel was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room is great!!! Firm mattresses, super clean, very large and spacious for our family of 5. I would definitely stay at this specific Hyatt place but I’ll also try other locations based on this stay!!!"
