Motel 6 Mesa, AZ - North

"My sister was visiting and she stayed here with her grandson. It was a scary motel there were people sitting outside on the ground by other people's rooms and it smelled and police were there at the time we were visiting. Would not recommend for anyone."

"I worked here at.the front desk for.almost a year ..then was told by new management or whatever they call themselves to not come back . With no explanation what so ever ..very unprofessional. I was always honest with the guest about the motel when they asked questions and always tried to help them to save as much as they could when checking in. The place is really a dump and needs to be torn down ... It's unsanitary and just disgusting . Yeah it may be cheap but think about it . Why spend money on a room when it will just make you sick ..plus they lost the 2 best workers they ever had at that place ."

"The location is convenient but it's in an area with a lot of homeless people. The check in was easy. I checked in late so I could do an early morning turn around at my job. My only issue is the room smells like weed whether it's the room itself or someone in a room nearby. There are burn marks in the tile floor and similar marks on the tub. The heater caps out at 65 but doesn't seem to blow warm at all. I would think that this would have been fixed before checking another guest into the room but otherwise I can live with this I suppose."

"Ok so my husband and I stayed here for 3.5 weeks do to a bad time of the year for us. The office staff (not manager) but the ladies in the office am, pm, and overnight ladies were amazing. Always helpful and very nice. The rooms are clean but just very plain. Not much in rooms and being in AZ during the day it would get hot in the room no matter how low you put the air and after taking a shower the room would be very humid for a long time. Now the manager (I understand he has a job to do) but we were never late on our payments and never gave any problems or complained even though they are next to a amusement park and alarms were going off in the middle of the night until sometimes 2am. One morning we had a long night into the later morning. My husband and I fell asleep and over slept, and got startled by a knock at the door. It was the manager telling us we needed to pack our stuff and get out. At this time our vehicle had been towed so we had nowhere to pack up all our stuff. We told him that we had a lot of stuff and we needed some time. 10 minutes later he came back and stood at our door until we put all our stuff putside the door then locked us out of the room. I've worked in the hotel industry and never put a family out on the streets over 30 minutes after check out. But I will say the location that place is in is not the best and he's going to do that to the wrong person and get himself injured. I don't wish harm on anyone but I will say I one day hope he's going to need help or just understanding and I hope he never gets it. Thanks"

"I cannot say enough good things about the staff here! After a horrific experience at another hotel we were desperate for a room. The ladies at the front desk were INCREDIBLE! They did everything they could to get us a comfortable room, extra linens we needed, and kept us well informed. The motel was clean and for the most part the other guests were quiet. Would recommend them to family."
