"I don’t think this hotel is a equal opportunity employment. A few minorities I know including myself put applications in for a few positions that we our highly qualified for to be told we don’t have enough experience. Including working at some of the top places in Scottsdale. The position I applied for I had over 10 year’s experience. It’s a shame in 2024 it’s still places not hiring people due to their skin color it’s very unfortunate."
"Sam Fox has really outdone himself with this amazing hotel with five restaurants inside. It's clean, new, and super well appointed. While the address is on Camelback road, be aware that you won't see it from the main street so turn when your Google maps tells you to and once inside the cluster of buildings you will see it perfectly situated there in the middle. This was actually a smart design element because I imagine there isn't a lot of traffic noise in any of the rooms. We came for a banquet and the food was delicious and the service was spot on. Even the gent in the entry way directing us to the self parking garage was courteous and clear when he spoke. All in all it was an excellent experience!"
"I’ve stayed at the hotel twice now…and want to leave this review on the hotel itself, not the restaurants within it…. First, the hotel is beautiful and brand new. So many details were nailed - gym is A+, spa is amazing, great food on site, great staff. The location is very central with a lot around it. However, I didn’t give it 5 stars for one very important reason. Anyone looking to stay here should know the hotel is the “it” spot in Phoenix right now. The lobby bar alone is an absolute zoo most afternoons and nights. People everywhere, valet is chaos, security guarding doors, etc. As a hotel guest, if you arrive at the hotel past 9 or so on a weekend night, you will be greeted by 50+ people milling around outside trying to get in, cars stacked in the valet line, and a very unapproachable security staff. You have to squeeze through the crowd and almost beg to be let in because you’re a hotel guest, then get pushed inside to more security and guards. We got back to the hotel one night at 10:45pm from a concert and was told that room service and every restaurant in the hotel was done serving any food, yet they’d still happily let people in for drinks at the bars/restaurants. Again, it’s a beautiful hotel and that staff is tremendous, but beware as a hotel guest! You’d be better off staying elsewhere for cheaper and stopping by for a meal. Hopefully it changes in the future!"
"We highly recommend the Global Ambassador Hotel. I knew the evening was starting off right when I pulled up to valet and they parked our Ferrari right up front. Upon walking inside you will see how elegant and extraordinary this hotel is. Before our dinner at Le Ame we walked around and got to see the grounds and my fiance enjoyed a drink at the bar before our reservation. We will definitely be going back and we highly recommend you check it out. You will not be disappointed"
"I'm fortunate to have the Global Ambassador located within a short walking distance from me. Last night a friend and I visited this new addition to my neighborhood. Because the hotel is so close to me, I wasn't spending the night. Darn! From the time my friend and I were greeted at the entry, to the time we left, we were attended by staff that was exceptional. And when we stepped into the lobby, we were transferred back to a Golden Age. The decor was warm and stunning. The ceiling is made of decorative metal and the furniture throughout was stylish and comfortable. I love the cushy chairs! My chardonnay was exceptional as was my entire experience. I will definitely be crossing the street to visit again!"
