"Getting into the place is a tedious task of following multiple directions and can be a little much when you first get into town. The next issue is the A/C worked for 1 day and then never got cold again. We would turn on the air but warm air would blow out. Luckily it was cool enough outside to sleep with doors and windows open. While the beds are firm, the pillows are horrendous. They start out fluffy but by the middle of the night are completely flat. As for the pros, it is clean and newer. It is conveniently located downtown. If I were to come back to Phoenix, we will definitely look elsewhere. Probably closer to Scottsdale with a concierge or staffed front desk to address issues as they arise."

"Overall very nice stay. Roomy and clean space. Lots of area food options. Definitely will stay here again. Two areas where you could improve. First, the arrival instructions if you're parking a car do not reference that the entrance/key box is on the 3rd floor. That would've been helpful knowledge. Secondly, upgrade your coffee options. The coffee tasted terrible, but if it was worth drinking, there wasn't enough. There were 3 regular and 3 vanilla flavored pods. Vanilla was not an option and since my wife & I were staying 2 nights, the remaining 3 pods weren't enough for 2 days. Maybe a somewhat larger variety of pods to choose from would be better. Other than the web site info and the coffee, we were very happy with our stay..."

"Our stay at Locale was great! We got a 2-bedroom apartment. It was clean and well built. We had one minor issue during our stay (curtain rod detached on one end), and the Locale support team was extremely helpful and they more than made up for it. It was a very pleasant stay. The support team replied immediately to our texts and made it so easy for us to enjoy our time in Phoenix."

"Pros: Excellent location...very clean, great parking, located 1 minute from First Watch an excellent breakfast restaurant. Amenities are great with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Cons: Mattress is extra firm so very uncomfortable. Pillow choices are large extra firm pillow or large extra soft pillow with no support. Very bright room because of city lights. I'd recommend bringing your own pillow along with a sleep mask."

"This experience was great with one big exception. The rooms on the north side of the building are across from a bar/restaurant that played loud music until after midnight on both nights we stayed there. Locale provides good quality white noise machines in the bedrooms, but that wasn't enough to drown out the music. One night it was a live band, the next night it was a DJ. Otherwise this is a fantastic place to stay if you can handle a few weird check-in procedures with codes and electronic key boxes. One other disappointment was that Locale charged me $30 per day for parking. Upon arrival, I realized that locale uses a public parking ramp that only charges $15 per 24 hours, so that felt like a rip-off. The apartment had so many amenities compared to a hotel: full kitchen, tons of towels, washer/dryer! The pool and hot tub were nice. The building is a new build and that means it's in great condition and feels much cleaner than any other place we've stayed. Both times I needed assistance I got it immediately via text and phone. I would definitely go back if they can promise a room that doesn't face the music."
