"I checked in later in the evening and first, I have to say the desk clerk was totally awesome! She was very friendly, helpful, and informative. Even though she had guests coming into the "lobby" almost non stop she still greeted everyone and got them taken care of in very quick time. I must say it's not the best location being right next to the 17 freeway but it was perfect for my needs and I have stayed there before as well. The room was very clean and everything worked properly meaning the room key card. There is security on site which makes your stay feel more safe and they do ask that any guests you may have register at the front desk. I don't have any complaints about my stay but I would make one recommendation and that would be to provide some type of breakfast besides just coffee but again, other than that everything was great!"

"On Nov 7, during the middle of my fully paid stay, the receptionist kicked me out in the evening because a room key "bounced" on the counter. (My hands were full with three heavy bags).  She rapidly became more and more rude with little to no provocation. I was shocked while she rashly locked, and checked me out of the room. All this rapidly happened in a couple of minutes.  She did this without thinking about my possessions still in the room. After reminding her that my bags were still in my room, she had a security guard (he was quite nice) escort me like a criminal to remove my possessions.  I never swore, I never yelled but I was becoming more and more upset with how bizarrely, severely and rudely I was being treated. The toll free number Motel 6 customer help was unable to provide help and shared that anyone from hotel 6 can remove a guest without cause.  After to a long day of work, the distress of dealing with rash unpredictable behavior from Motel 6 employee, and the additional time scrambling to locate a new location is the last thing you want at the end of a day. They have lost a quiet, clean, paying hotel guest. I encourage Motel 6 check the mental stability of the receptionist at their Northern Avenue property so as to further avoid losing quality paying guests."

"Great value, but you get what you paid for. Its a simple, clean, safe room to stay the night. Driving to the location is a bit of a hassle, but workable once you know. A little loud because we got a room adjacent to the hallway but it got quiet once it was real night time so it as easy to sleep. Might be a little hard accessibility wise because there is only one elevator so let them know in advance if you need a room at a lower floor."

"For the price I could not beat it anywhere else. The rooms were clean a little stains on the toilet seat from cigarettes but it did not smell like cigarette smoke. the three nights that I was there it was quiet. The beds where clean. No bedbugs! The staff was very professional and courteous. I would stay here again."
