"Two stars based on the condition of the property, but 5 min from the airport. Very old, really needs a face-lift. I guess they are replacing the wallpaper otherwise it's all just peeling off in the hallways. Yikes. Room 131 smelled funky, possibly smoked in. No fan in bathroom with 300 pound spring-loaded metal fire door that opened outward to block room door that you can't prop open. King bed was old, with a hard mattress. No bed frame so it sat low as I think it was a handicapped room. TV was tiny. Staff was nice and friendly... All said, a grossly overpriced, well located, friendly dump. As a titanium with 100+ nights every year, I won't be staying here again."

"An absolute awful experience without even staying at the location. I booked this room months and advance even added increase rate of nearly $400 per night. Upon arrival, I was told that they were overbooked and were transferring me to another location. Just ten minutes away. I was disappointed but headed that direction. Note, the person I was traveling with was not transferred, so now we are staying in two different spots with one rental car (business trip). Upon arriving at the location (in Tempe) they sent me to, I was told that they overbooked and were sending me to yet another location, now in Scottsdale. YOU CANT MAKE THIS UP. You can understand my frustration. Third time was the charm, but now 30 minutes away from my business travel partner. If you don't have "status" with Marriott, beware. I'll stick to Hyatt!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. My only set back was it feels a little dark and dimly lit in the hallways. But it’s a great location and I would stay here again. I recommend."

"The hotel is nice. It's older, but it's being well maintained. The rooms are big and spacious. The beds are comfortable. There's an outlet by each bedside for charging devices. The bathroom is well lit. No issues with warm water or anything. The down side is the rooms are very dark and there's only a few weak lights."

"We travel all the time. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This hotel was close to the airport so my husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before flying out. The visit started out great, but after we checked in, we noticed the electricity kept going out. It went out 3 or 4x the first day we were there. Then shortly after check-out I noticed an additional $150 was charged to my card which I thought was strange. We had prepaid through Priceline for 2 nights. I called the hotel immediately and asked why they charged the addition $150 since we prepaid. Someone who said her name was Robin promised that a manager was on their way in and would call me back within a couple hours or at the latest the next day. 2 days went by and still no callback. So I called several times in the following week and was given the exact same story. I never did receive a callback from the hotel, no receipt, no explanation whatsoever. We will never stay at this hotel again no matter how convenient it is to the airport. Check your credit card statements and monitor your cards closely because they will charge you, then send no receipt, and provide no explanation."
