Surestay Hotel By Best Western Phoenix Airport

"Hotel is convenient to the airport but in a fairly sketchy area. We checked in late and the front desk clerk was nice enough. Definitely seems like an older hotel but the air conditioning worked well which was a must and the room was clean. We were going to sleep in a bit but the walls were thin so once the surrounding rooms were up, so were we."

"Very disappointed with the lack of customer service. Our room television stopped working. We did all that was asked (unhook the HDMI cable, disconnected the power). We also had the front desk lady try. And still nothing. We were told they couldn't do anything and that they would have to contact maintence in the morning. We only stayed one night. I don't want to sound like a pest but this is one of there amenities listed LCD televisions."

"Not what i was expecting for nearly 200.00 night. Older hotel that has been somewhat renovated and painted. Rooms are in 2 structures all with outside entrance to parking area. Tv was awesome though big 46 in screen i would guess. But my main problem may be partly my fault for not asking but the airport shuttle was my main reason to stay here as we had to be at airport 5am so i needed to drop rental car the night of check in. When I inquired how i coordinate pickup FROM airport I was told they only go TO the airport. Desk person provided printed instructions on how to take skytrain,walk and take some sort of shuttle. But it sounded like a difficult time consuming thing. I was lucky an uber was only 20 plus 4.00 tip. AM shuttle to airport picked up on time and eent well. I wont assume shuttle is both ways in future."

"Expensive motel in a shabby part of town. The walls are unbelievably thin and you can hear everything on the floor above. Anyone walking upstairs will be clearly heard. Don’t expect a quiet or full night of sleep. Did not feel safe with the loud inconsiderate neighbors and late night blasting music and yelling in parking lot. Definitely a motel feel. I got “upgraded” to a jacuzzi room but when it reeked of cigarettes (apparently I accidentally booked a smoking room), the only other nonsmoking room had two queens instead of a king (no jacuzzi), yet somehow I had to pay an extra $20 for THAT “upgrade.” At least the rooms seemed clean."

"I hesitantly booked this room because I just needed it for the night before my flight and didn't care about location or condition. I was so relieved when I walked into the room. They are clean, modern and comfy! The surrounding area is not safe or clean but the hotel does a great job of keeping the property clean, secure and I felt safe once I got settled. I chose to park my vehicle at The Parking Spot 1 when I left for my flight and it only took 15 minutes to check out, park my car and get to the airport. The location is incredibly convenient!"
