"I was kinda skeptical at first with reading the reviews but after my 5 night stay in a king size bed suite I was alone and felt not only safe but had a comfortable stay. There was a few downers. There's homeless everywhere in Phoenix but this hotel does pretty good with weeding them out. Hot breakfast wasn't that great but I'm just not a fan of powdered egg the other stuff available was pretty good. I was able to enjoy the Jacuzzi alone. Enjoyed my stay. They were very accommodating. Only downfall I feel was there was blood splatter on the curtains. Don't know how that happened. Room was pretty clean other than that. I paid about $200 a night but felt it was really only worth maybe $150. I did like there was a Starbucks, chipotle and waffle House right outside. I am very particular with where I stay and this place wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. My dad was hit by a car so I flew in from Florida and the homeless abundance was kinda hard to get over but I still felt pretty safe here."
"There was mold in the bathroom where the tub and the wall meet. A week later and im finally able to breathe without coughing my head off. Didn't discover it until after having slept in the room that night and was preparing to check out. Most disappointing stay I've ever had at a comfort inn & suites. Won't make that mistake again. If your reading this as the hotel manager look at room 110 on Feb 21 and you'll see I was there."
"The pictures make this place look amazing. Don't be deceived. It's trashed and cheap. They should have fired the painters and the tilers. The rooms are cleaned with a very strong bleach cleaner so the smell is very strong. We left our window open for several hours to help air it out. The floors are also very sticky from the cleaner. I took one of the towels and got it wet and then wiped it all over the floor. This helped but the towel was disgusting for what should be clean floors. Our room also had the smoke detector removed from the wall. You get 2 sheets for blankets. We would never stay here again and are annoyed we paid so much for such a trashy place."
"Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay at this hotel in Phoenix. I called twice; I spoke with Lizett who said she was a manager, to see about having medication delivered to the hotel. She absolutely refused to allow it. She said, "We don't have room to store it." She wasn't even open to discussing options either. My husband and I were going to stay at the hotel for a week. I needed medications delivered because I can't live without them, literally. I have never been treated so rudely by someone I've never met. We won't be staying at any "choice" hotels!"
"Hotel is in shambles. Our bathroom tub was painted over rust in places. The toilet was loose even after they tightened it. The hotel hallways have a musty smell. Our room had a huge water stain on the ceiling. 3 days into our 5 day stay it rained really hard. We came back from being out all day to a leak in our room. Housekeeping put a towel and bucket under it but said nothing to us or the front desk about it. One of the window drapes ripped out of the ceiling in the night due to the Sheetrock being water soaked. They didn’t offer to move us rooms for over a day. Also the hot tub was dry and had been for awhile. The pool looked ok but we chose not to use it. The outside doors don’t always shut. The card readers for the gates don’t work forcing you to go to the front and our room in particular the card reader was finicky. The hotel was reasonably quiet given its proximity to the highway and the amount of traffic in the hotel. Only way that our room could have been quieter was if the window was newer than 1990. In a pinch it would work for a night but we don’t recommend a 5 day stay like we had. For our next stay we won’t stay here"
