"No one wants to be in a situation where they have to deal with a warranty in the first place—we prefer to not need it. But when we DO need it, may we all have someone like Jennifer. The saga: The transmission on my well-cared-for, 2018 F-150 died. They have to totally replace it. The shop estimated the total cost of repairs to be about $5,000 higher than CNA's estimate (and Google's, and the dealer's, and my father in law's, and every other person I've spoken to about this). They are refusing to use CNA's transmission (new, from Ford) and only using THEIR transmission (also new, also from Ford, but marked waaaay, way up). They are trying to pass that cost onto me. But Jennifer went above and beyond to help me ask the right questions of the shop and make a smart decision. She joined me on a (riveting! dramatic!) 3-way phone-call with the shop and basically made them confess that they were trying to profit off of me. In conclusion, Jennifer is amazing."
"Horrendous. Got their extended warranty through Maxcare. Changed repair shops since the Mercedes dealer would not take Maxcare, but CNA decided that it counted as a "claim" and as ar result when we took it to an in-network shop, they will not proceed with ANY claim until Mercedes CALLS and cancels the previous claim. I cannot force Mercedes to call, and now I am stuck with a $3000 useless warranty. It is unbelievable how bad their policies are, something as simple as switching repair shops is difficult."
"I purchased gap insurance along with my vehicle, and unfortunately I got into an accident, and my car was totaled. My insurance paid out right away, but I'm having a very hard time dealing with this company to get the gap paid off. I have sent them every piece of paperwork I can possibly get, and it seems like they are trying to avoid my contract that I purchased. Unless this gets sorted out quickly, I have nothing nice to say at all, as now I am left paying off two loans at the same time that I cannot afford."
"So, my engine is covered under warranty through CNA. The engine has a rod knock as confirmed by the their certified repair pal mechanic shop. The warrant company wanted to replace the headers and still left me with $2,000 bill with the shop. The good guys over at the mechanic shop tried arguing with them about the bill and the fact the it didn't actually fix the problem. The mechanics told me the block needed to be replaced and they had to reach out to Subaru because CNA didn't want to do anything more, even though my engine is covered under warranty. Now all said and done the bill reached $11,900. I haven't had my car for just under a year dealing with this companies nonsense. The guys at the shop even said to me that they don't understand why they are being so difficult. 0/10 experience for me."
"My experience was good, only issue was finding a tow truck. I had to wait an extra 24 hours to get towed. (Broke down Sunday at noon, towed Tuesday at 9 AM) They paid for the tow, and brought it where I wanted. Communication was great the entire time. They approved the work promptly. They next day delivered their parts to the dealership and I had my truck back by 5 PM Wednesday. Payment to the dealership was also done right away. Apparently I will get reimbursed for my rental car the days my truck was at the dealership which is great. I will have to pay for Monday out of pocket for the rental because my truck didn't arrive at the shop until Tuesday. I thought that was strange because it was supposed to be towed Monday, but they couldn't get a tow truck. Seems it was their delay not mine. All in all, my experience was good."
