"I'm giving this property only 2 stars. I have lived at this property for almost 2 year's. The Landlord is very friendly. Maintenance is quick to respond and will fix your unit. The reasons that I am only giving it 2 stars. Is because 1) I have dealt with Mold coming from My Heating and Air Conditioning vents. When I confronted Management about the Mold. They 1st tried to say it was dust. Then they tried to say that it was rust. Continuously denying my reality... However they have no problems painting over Mold in other units. Yes, I have heard the Maintenance Man tell the Landlord inside of the Landlord's Office. That He was spraying Bleach onto the Ceiling. Trying to Bleach out the Mold out of the drywall... I'm not sure if it's the Manager's fault or the Ownership Weigand Omega!! It's obvious to assume that they don't have to worry about it. Because, they are not the ones living here... They also have a problem with Homeless people coming in and out of this property. They do not want to pay to put up Security Cameras or hire Security Guards for the safety of their Tenants... Before, I finish- Let me assure you. Regardless of what they say. They are not working on these issues... And, just down right DO NOT CARE!!! I will be moving at the End of next Month. I look forward to what God has in store for Me. I have met some wonderful people. While I have lived here. I really hope My next Apartment is Mold free. I will say again. They are not working on these issues. Homeless people were coming into this Building. Before, I moved in. And, they will be coming after I move. I am seriously concerned about the safety of the Tenants here. Yes, these Apartments look really nice just by looking at them. The issue is what's beneath the surface. And, that issue is what can kill you... If it was not for the Mold and the continuous blatant negligence of the Management as well as the problem with the Homeless people coming in and out. I would have gave this place 5 Stars... They say that a professional company. Cleaned My Vents. But, that was a lie... They hired somebody who put something like a vacuum up in there. And, was only here in My Unit about 30 Minutes. I was here the whole time in my Unit. When that took place... I will say again. It's obvious that they dont have to worry about it. Because, they DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE HERE... Who is at fault?? I'm not sure, If it's the Property Manager or Owners. But, Somebody needs to be held accountable!!! When asked the Manager about why Security Cameras are not being installed or Security Guards are not being hired. I was told that the Owners would not pay for that!! They only have 2 working Security Cameras. There should honestly be Security Cameras by all of the Exit Doors... -Well Management left a note that they really wanted to speak with me further about this issue. I just left the Office. Where the Landlord was there as well as the District Manager for Weigand Omega. Absolutely Nothing was mentioned about the issue at Hand... Why Not??? Because, they both know that I was speaking the truth!!! Unfortunately, I'm still living n this Bed bug, Mold Infested Building. They originally were willing to give Me a 30 Day Extension. Until My Apartment is ready. But, now that I have proof that another Tenant assaulted Me. And, yes... I have filed a Police Report as well as charges. I am the 1 that has to Move.. Even though I will be HOMELESS!! And, the Manager Lisa Dresser DOES NOT CARE!! I use a Breathing Machine. She was made aware of that... I also had a Heart Attack the 1st week of September!!! IF YOU WANT TO MOVE TO APARTMENT BUILDING THAT HAS NO PLANS TO MAKE CHANGES FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR TENANTS AND THAT IS MOLD INFESTED AND BED BUGS INFESTED! THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU!!!"
"My 2 rooms with bathroom in between are big. 650 sq. ft. There are smaller apartments, and larger ones as well. Windows are all on one side of the apartment in many of them. This building was built to be a hospital many years ago. Some people live here who were born here. They won't always let us regulate our temperature in the room. Right now we can only turn the thermostat up to 74 degrees fahrenheit. There are a lot of weird noises in the neighborhood, but usually it's quiet. We are 3 blocks from the Argentine Train Yard. There is an excellent Bible study being held on Tue. night in the chapel. Lots of good lighting in the living room. The kitchen cabinets aren't as big as they look. Cabinet space and drawer space could be better. We don't have much closet space. They did not raise my rent last year, but they did the first 2 years. The worst part is revolving management. All-in-all, it's a decent place to live. We have tax credit. I get $100 off rent. It's not as cheap as a HUD apartment. April 2021 - new management seems to be better."
"I moved in about a little over 2yrs ago. Since that time there has been 4 management changes. It seemed we couldn't keep a manager. During that time, we had some good ones, some bad ones & one big disaster. Now we have a new manager, number 5. So far, a welcome change from some of the others. Penny is very attentive to the needs of the tenants. At first Penny and I didn't see eye-to-eye on an issue, but we worked through it together and now we get along great. It is nice to have a manager you can talk things out with. All I need now is a new dishwasher. Keep up the Good Work!"
"City view of st margaret is a very beautiful place. Its was an catholic hospital 100 hundred years. The nun that was the head of the hospital; i know her family personally. In fact her nephew got married at the catholic church next door and they had the wedding reception here at the hospital! Anyway I love my apartment. Its very spacious. We finally have an Awesome apartment manager that will always take the time to listen. She has gotten more done for the building and for the residents!! She is easy to talk to. I have never had to wait for the maintenance to fix something. If they couldn't get to my apartment right away they would tell me!! The manager has tried earnestly to keep the building clean and has addressed issues that needed to be addressed! Yes, I would recommend City view of st margaret to anyone!!!!"
