"I booked this hotel because of the pool and hot tub, but I was disappointed to find the pool was freezing and the hot tub was cold and not working. After further researching I noticed reviews from over a year ago complaining of the same thing! The manager/ GM continues to respond by apologizing, however after a year I would think enough is enough! Someone is not doing their job. I will be contacting corporate Monday regarding this. Additionally the bedroom drawers did not close and we had to walk around the drawers. This location is by a busy highway so you might hear the traffic which we did and it was very difficult to sleep. We do not recommend this hotel."

"The front entrance was under construction, the pool was closed, and the lobby looked like it was furnished from a Goodwill. The desk clerk was very efficient and helpful. The carpet in the room had several large stains, the TV was small and mounted crooked, and there were no nightstand outlets. The only accessible outlet on the bed side of the room was an outdoor outlet, cover and all, situated behind one of the beds. I had to move the bed off the wall to access it. There was no comforter on the beds and the room smelled musty. Breakfast was decent. Not a great experience."

"Decent room for the price. The suite has a door to the second bedroom but it’s a glass door so not fully private. Gym equipment is old but decent enough to get a good workout. The hotel’s policy is to clean the room every 3 days. On the third day we confirmed with front desk staff that our room would be cleaned. We returned after our day to find the room was never cleaned. We asked evening staff why the room was not cleaned only to be met with a series of “I don’t know” responses to all questions. We also experienced a malfunction with our toilet. We let front desk staff know who said they would call maintenance. Maintenance fixed the toilet but left a mess all over the toilet seat and floor. They are also doing construction and the last day we woke up to a jackhammer as they were redoing their sidewalks. Would recommend staying elsewhere in the area."

"Workers were nice. Did not receive housekeeping daily because they do every other day. Had to ask for towels and linens. Rooms were old, rusty, and falling apart. Needs updating. Breakfast was great. Great location close to everything."

"This hotel is not a bad cheaper option. The location is pretty good if you’re looking for shopping, the Legends outlet is right next to the hotel. But if you have any activities in downtown KC you will have a 25-35 minute drive depending on where you are going. The staff is nice and offers good customer service. I was dissatisfied by the state of our room though. Upon finding our room the door was open by the security guard lock. I thought that was very strange so I had my boyfriend go in first to check if anyone was inside, luckily not. Around the room were curly hairs found all over - mind you I have straight hair. Room was very dusty and you could tell items such as the ice bucket, trays, and coffee maker had not been cleaned for a while. I went to open up one of the packages for coffee to grab a straw and found the package had already been open. To me it felt a little bit like the room was either slightly “used” or just not properly cleaned/checked."
