"the city should just make this into free housing for homeless/houseless people cause ethere’s no way anybody should be paying to stay here. comforter had holes in it, bathroom had a smoke smell (someone before me had clearly been smoking in the non-smoking room I paid for), the painting on walls inside and outside were chipped, the pool was closed, and the “free breakfast” was what looked like freezer burned pancakes and cereal in machines that didn’t work. the vending machines also didn’t work. it’s so far away from any attractions and bus stops. what I’m saying is don’t make my mistake. stay somewhere else."

"Arrived at hotel late afternoon, check in went smooth and receptionist was friendly. Room was decent - nothing special but nothing bad. I set my alarm to wake up at 5:50 am the next morning. I woke up and received alert that my car door was open followed by alarm going off. I ran out of the room to find my vehicle being broken into. Car sped away, went to receptionist to ask for help. They were unable to give security footage or work with me, manager was not willing to come in early to help. Manager did not call to ask how I was or anything. Days later manager called and was anything but sympathetic - hospitality at its lowest. I would have never guessed that this hotel is in a bad area of KC, I am devastated, I feel violated. Parking lot wasn’t full - dead end road. Clearly someone knows that the security leaves at 6am (another guest perhaps who is living there!) Receptionist told me security is done at 6am! And not even 10 minutes later my car window was smashed and my stuff taken. BE VERY AWARE- STAY AWAY! *Update* Police have tried to get footage from hotel and continue to get the run around. This property does not care about its guests at all! I have a feeling someone working or staying at the hotel is definitely involved in the car break-ins - this is unacceptable. DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"We were here about six years ago when they were starting their remodel. Everything is so fresh and clean now. The desk staff is great. Breakfast was sufficient. The beds were great. I'm just sad our schedule didn't allow us to stay longer."

"Absolutely 100% do not stay here. My truck was parked outside IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. And was broken into and when I went to the front desk to ask for the camera footage I was told that the manager would have to pull them, called 3 hours later, still not manager. Drove over there to get a refund and magically the manager was there. He basically told me he absolutely would not help me with the camera footage unless KCPD wanted it. The room was actually clean, no complaints on that. But the rest of the hotel was disgusting and in a horrible area. Please, ignore the price and DO NOT STAY HERE."
