"The hotel was in a great location, breakfast was pretty good and loved the pool & evening drink tickets, but they did have a small line to get the drinks. Hotel was clean, but just dated. The kids loved the pool, but it was busy the weekend we came (Gymnastic’s state meet & basketball NCAA final 12)"
"This is the least "Embassy Suites" I've been to. One of the 3 elevators didn't work the entire time we were there. Hasn't been updated since the 80s? And the food wasn't nearly as good as what I would expect for breakfast. Great location, could use a refresh."
"I have never left a review for any establishment but this was SO BAD that I have to warn any future guests. Saturday night, February 24, 2024 we had a 1 night reservation at the Embassy Suites Plaza in a king premium suite. When we arrived there was a group of young ladies screaming at the front desk staff, cursing and pounding on the counter. Definitely not the best way to stand in line waiting to check in. Security stepped in and calmed the ladies down. That was the first red flag- that this hotel has a security guard. We got checked in and made our way to the room (3 elevators but only 1 was functioning in a 10+ floor hotel). The moment we walked into our room, we were met by what can only be described as a biohazard. The floor was SO stained and looked visibly dirty. The door from the sitting area to the bedroom had a blood stain on it. Though small- it was very noticeable. Making our way into the bedroom we were met more stains all over the floor. The bed skirt had large "unknown white stains" all over. The bathroom door had MUCH larger blood stains smeared on both sides of the door. The tub was full of rust and was leaking. At this point there was no way we were going to be staying the night. But we had a concert to get to so we needed to leave before being able to speak with the staff. When we got back after the concert, it was our intent to discuss the room with staff for a refund- we got back around 2345 and no one was at the front desk- we could not locate any staff what-so-ever. We left and found another hotel. Absolutely disgusting and horrible experience."
"Overall everything was excellent. We were visiting from out of town for a concert on February 17 and checked out on the 18. The only down size was we forgot some jewelry items left in the safe. We couldn’t get the safe to work properly and decided that the hotel seems very trustworthy and left the jewelry in the safe anyways. We are very upset with ourselves. We are hoping that the housekeeper would have a huge heart and turn those items in and hopefully we can get them back. We are hopeful that the young Hispanic female with the clip board, who knocked on our door and asked, “if we were going to extend our stay”. We said, we are just about to leave. We stayed and took pictures outside of our room 804 because the hotel had a very nice unique layout and view. That lady went into the room while we were waiting for the elevator. We didn’t notice until Thursday night, after we already been home for a couple of days to find out a MK rose gold watch, two bracelets gold with crystal and rose gold cuff bracelet, a pair of valentine gift diamond earrings, and some variety of stud earrings bag was not anywhere in our suitcase. It dawned on us that we had put them in the safe and forgot about them when we checked out. We hope to get those items back if possible. We feel really sad and angry at ourselves right now."
"Overall hotel looks dated, not particularly important to me, however, carpets on the floors are dirty and stained. In the room the setting area had two broken down pieces of furniture. The chair was absolutely filthy with arms that were blackened from use. It really looked like they found them on a curb somewhere. The most comfortable chair in the room was the desk chair. Bedroom is OK. Mattress was comfortable bathroom was OK, except a black stain on the bathmat that never went away. On check-in there were two ladies at the desk one, was mostly cordial. The other one seemed angry and told me they would not make up the room without a 24 hour notice. I was there seven nights and only asked for the room to be cleaned once, at 8 am on a Saturday. They told me it couldn’t be done until Sunday. Guess what, it wasn’t cleaned until Monday after I asked a second time. The breakfast is somewhat of a bright spot it’s decent and they will custom cook an omelet if you want. Although one day I did get rotten fruit. I was at this hotel because my wife was across the street at the hospital. I had no idea how long she was going to be there so I would go down and add days as necessary. One day I went down and told him I needed another day about about 7 PM. The girl was a little busy and was kind of blowing me off, but I asked her three separate times if she had added a day to my reservation. Guess what she didn’t. I found this out the next morning when I got a notice that I was being checked out with my stuff still in the room. I had to go back over and get new keys which was just a small annoyance, but certainly unnecessary. The heating unit in my room clanged and banged and sounded like it was about to fall out of the celling. The weird thing about this whole experience is this is a Hilton branded hotel, I expected more. I guess the Hilton brand doesn’t really mean that much anymore."
