Reviews
"I had my prescription switched from Walker rd Rite Aid to this location after having a not so great experience with the pharmacist and a huge delay in my refill. I spoke to Larissa(May have been Clarissa) the pharmacist and she was SO compassionate, understanding and helpful. My faith in humanity was restored just by how nice and helpful she was. Once my prescription was transferred it only took maybe 30 minutes to fill. Fast. Compassionate. Helpful. 10/10! I will be moving all my pharmacy needs to this location and drive the extra mile, no problem."
"I called today to see if my diabetes medication was available yet to fill, the woman I spoke to was completely rude and abrupt. When I asked if it was available she snootily replied “nope”. I then asked if she knew when it might be available and she irritatedly told me she had no idea, the pharmacy runs the prescription daily and it’s not available. I take Ozempic, for diabetes, not for cosmetic purposes. I realize there has been a shortage, and it may take time to get it filled, but I do not need to deal with a rude pharmacist when I am just trying to advocate for myself and decide what to do if I cannot fill my Ozempic by the end of the week. Unfortunately the only way to find out of the medication is now available is to call the pharmacy. I have been coming to this pharmacy for a few years and they have a sign up saying “be kind we are short staffed” so I try to be kind, too bad patients don’t get the same courtesy when calling or visiting this pharmacy."
"Horribly understaffed pharmacy. They never pick up, are usually late to refill when you go in person, the drive thru is closed half the time, and it typically just seems very disorganized and unprofessional. I regularly run out of medication because they either do not pick up the phone when I need to refill, or have not refilled yet or are out of my meds when I show up in person when i schedule them to refill. I’ve been trying to call them for the past 3 days in a row with no response, which is what led me to finally leave this review. I’ve been having these issues for years, though."
"I usually don't do bad reviews but do yourself a favor and chose ANY other option. Even before covid they were slow, disorganized, no one seemed to enjoy their job, & didn't usually start filling new e-prescription until you show up even up to 2days after it was sent. Now I don't even trust them to be open on their posted hours after multiple occasions of showing up to have them closed early. I'm not sure where the dysfunction is but I feel bad for the staff that is trying. I work in healthcare and I get it that covid happened and staffing is bad. I've started trying to fill my prescriptions 2 weeks early, but they seem frustrated when they do fill it a timely fashion yet I don't show up immediately like I'm the one being difficult. On my 3rd day of them being out of a medication and unable to fill, they are still unable to transfer it to another Rite Aid store that does have the needed med because they are "waiting for the help desk to call back". Only viable recommendation came from the other Rite Aid that has the med is for me call the weekend on-call to have the prescription cancelled and sent back in. I'm done partaking in this medical waste that makes me the problem when I'm sick instead of being part of the team to help care for me. (After posting this, they did call the MD themselves and get a new Rx for the other store just in time to close. So I still can't pick it up until tomorrow, which I work)."
"This location is the worst location of all rite aid pharmacy’s and it has 1000% to do with the poorly trained staff, this pharmacy chooses their own hours I showed up today , was being told at 1:40 pm that they were going to go to lunch late and to come back at 2:10, their were two people including myself waiting for our medicine, what’s even worse is I call frequently for refills on my nausea medication, which they answer say please hold and immediately put the phone down as if their short staffed or can’t run their business, and when you can finally reach people at this location when their not shifting thru phone calls they choose to take or choosing their hours , the employees are incredibly rude. Hope that Mac and cheese bowl was tasty, some of us can’t even eat without our meds, learn to take your jobs more seriously, cause now I have to go without until Monday cause u choose ur hours today and ur closed on Sunday so thanks rite aid on barns rd."
