"Tried getting cash back with Apple Pay like I’ve done at other Safeways, not all but some, and I was trying to purchase a PayPal debit card with my cash app card in my apple wallet. I know… Anyway it didn’t work and the store clerk said that Safeway only charges credit through apple wallet at their stores. When I informed him that that wasn’t true, he took a stab at making me feel stupid and argued that it was, I used some choice words to his face (maintained a positive tone and demeanor)and I left."

"We had issues with an order due to the winter storm, and they were very flexible and accommodating — really saved us from my mistake!! Figured it was worth some appreciation. If you are, for some reason, choosing which Safeway to go to based on google maps reviews, then I highly recommend this one."

"Every time I come here after work I hear the same guy doing stock work complaining about how many customers are in there and why they’re not doing other things on Friday nights or the weekend. My only time to shop is after work because I’m a full time healthcare worker. I came in at 9pm so it wasn’t even that late in my opinion. Super unprofessional and off putting for customers to hear the workers complain about shoppers! Get a different job if you don’t want to be around people!"
