Motel 101,

"Where do I begin. My room was very old and distressed, the beds are old, the sheets yellowed with age and the pillows are flat. The TV had one blurry channel, the wifi was 6 Mbps, and there are holes in the wall. The window was so dirty I couldn't read the marque that said senior as in senior discount. We paid $175 for this room! When my husband called to ask about the discount at 7:45pm we just got voicemail and the office was locked. This room was way overpriced."

"Got here late in the evening. The manager stayed late to give us our key. Then he went above and beyond by how welcoming he was to my wife, kids, mother-in-law,and myself! Will definitely be going back to this place again! Well worth it!"

"This motel was great for the stay and location was really very convienent. However. Ariving in the evening after traveling many house and seeing the front office closed was a big shock. There was a phone number to call but they never picked up. So we had to ask some random person if they worked there and conviently they did. So they went to go fetch the owner or clerk?? They called me back after I went to another motel to ask if they had a room availble and they said my room# was unlocked and we could just go in. They also said they will arrive in 45 minute to deal with the paper work, and while we waited another person in the same situation as us ended up on the grounds. So I had to explain what happened and tell them to wait outside in the cold. Lastly my wife went to deal with the paper work and I walked in, the clerk said, oh we have another one here. Which kinda took me back. Over all. Good clean, safe place to stay but try and show up before they close the office doors."

"This is a great budget experience. The walls are cinder block, the bathtub dated, chairs cheap, but the bed is very comfortable. Clean, though the door frame could use a scrub. I would stay again. Not looking for a resort experience, just a cheap room with a good bed...stay here. Owner very friendly and helpful. Good price."

"Great staff! No breakfast but coffee available. It seemed they did their best with what they had. There was a very nice motel, across the street on the ocean side, for the same price. I feel bad only giving 2 stars as the owner was such a great guy but it was sad to see such a nice place for the same $$. Perhaps lowering their price until they finish the update would be nice. Sadly I will not return."
