"Stayed here for four nights to experience New Orleans, and I don't think we could have chosen a much better place to stay. Union Lofts are conveniently located in an area in which you can easily access, by simply walking, any of the major notable tourist attractions. The street itself literally turns into Bourbon, just a few blocks away. Easy walk to French Quarters, River Walk, Superdome, countless museums. The list of things you can simply walk to from this location could keep you entertained for weeks. Enough around to keep you sustained outside of entertainment, also. Nearby locations to eats, convenient stores, and pharmacy. Crowd noise, despite being so close to everything, is essentially non-existent. It's just enough outside of everything that it's quiet. The walls are quite soundproof, heard nothing from outside, or inside. Very nice building, secure, apartments and elsewhere all nicely done. There were other elements, like the roof, to hang out on as well, but we were too immersed in everything else to enjoy that aspect. 100% would recommend the Union Lofts for everyday living, and most certainly, as a tourists dream spot to lay their head for a heck of a stay on downtown New Orleans."
"If your renting a Airbnb here (Nola Comfort, Quintessential New Orleans Elegance) be careful the guy here that rent AIRBNB has Hidden cameras in the bathroom & bedroom be safe out here privacy is not your choice anymore and invasion of privacy is real he also stole my passport to report me to Airbnb to have me block from making my report anyone who goes to that height and extreme extend is dangerous and weird please be careful. the owner could’ve tell me exactly how many people I had in and out and I don’t think it should be a matter as long as their not staying over night or breaking any rules I’ve found Airbnb people to be very weird and rude like why rent out your place to me if you gonna watch my every move the code to the apartment callbox is #2028"
"Super-cool and unique apartment to rent if you're in town for a few days or weeks. Lots of room to move around, unusual layout with great urban vibe, access to rooftop, and more. Best thing was the location. This is the perfect area for a base while in New Orleans."
"Stayed here on an air bnb. Great place. Centrally located. Easy in and out."
"Union Lofts has an excellent location with quick access to the street car lines and walking distance to the French Quarter and Rouse's Grocery store among numerous other things. However, the management is severely lacking. It is often difficult to reach anyone in the management office. When you are able to reach a person (not the inevitable voice mail during business hours), your maintenance requests are not dealt with in a timely fashion. For example, I have had problems with my water heater since moving in 3 months ago. I have placed numerous service requests with responses that it has been addressed. My most recent service request took 3 weeks for it to be satisfactorily addressed and that was after I sat in their office and demanded that maintenance come to my apartment that day. Once my water heater was repaired, they did not even have the courtesy to replace the covers to unit. This example may seem insignificant, however, given the high cost to rent these units I expected much better service. I have had other problems from the toilet to the internet and cable services. This is the worst managed property that I have ever lived in. In summary, Union Lofts is a great place to live if your main concern is location and design. If you want to be treated in a courteous and respectful manner and have your maintenance concerns addressed in a timely fashion, seek a lease at one of many other lofts in this area."
