InterContinental New Orleans, an IHG Hotel

"Room stunk of smoke and was horrible returning to the smell. Otherwise, a well fitted n appointed room. The breakfast buffet was great and awesome omelettes, but just filter coffee available. Service was so so, depends on who's on duty. Pool does operate outside of summer months!! Why not heat it. Gym was so basic hardly worth a visit."

"Best part of my stay was the friendly and welcoming staff. Manny, our valet was kind and courteous! He didn’t let the frigid temperatures get in the way of providing quality service! Even provided some local food recommendations which were fantastic! Will definitely be back all thanks to the staff. Great job Manny!"

"Great hotel that is centrally located away from the busy canal and bourbon streets, but close enough to walk over. Quiet and prime location for street cars and buses. Lots of great restaurants around the area. Friendly staff and very safe inside the hotel. The area is not bad at night along at St Charles avenue, but would still stay alert. Quick walk to canal Street. Perfectly located in between the garden district and the French quarter. The WW2 museum is close by and the superdome is not too far, either. Very nice restaurants inside the hotel and Starbucks is right next door. Great drinks and creole seafood options. Only issue is that the room had no fridge or microwave. Had a fridge with a mini bar for purchase if you like that. Very clean and professional property. Parking close by in the Whitney garage inside the same block as the hotel. Good discounted rate and seems safe."

"Amazing room, although no updated smart tv. The beds are the best (firm mattress) and I am dying to get my hands on their pillows. They were super comfy. Our stay from NYE weekend was amazing. Staff was in point and the hotel was always clean. I'd definitely book again."

"Everything about my stay at the intercontinental exceeded my expectations! The check in was smooth, daily housekeeping service which was great (and not the case in all hotels). We had a fantastic room with a balcony and amazing view. The hotel is in a great area close to the main attractions in New Orleans. They stored luggage after we checked out before our flight. Every single staff member we experienced through the stay, from the doorman to the concierge, was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in New Orleans!"
