"I’ve been to New Orleans several times and stayed in a variety of bed and breakfasts, but this one was my favorite experience! Betsy is such a warm and inviting host. It truly feels like home. I stayed in the Russia suite and loved the attention to detail. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I chose the location for it’s close proximity to the venue for a friend’s wedding location and was able to walk to French Quarter easily. I cannot recommend her highly enough and will certainly be telling my friends and family to stay!"

"On the corner of the French quarter, it is slightly out of the way of massive crowds, meaning sleep is much easier to find, while still easily being within walking distance to Frenchman and bourbon streets. Betty, the owner, is wonderful and accomodating, and will do what she can to make your stay as entertaining and fulfilling as possible."

"What an amazing stay! We had 3 couples in our group so we rented the whole house for a weekend during Mardi Gras season. Our reservation was made about 2 months in advance, and communication with Betsy from the get-go was phenomenal; she was clear about pricing and payment, check-in/out instructions, and gave tailored recommendations for our group's interests. Our interactions with her improved tenfold once we arrived. Betsy is very friendly and accommodating, practical, and really interesting if you make time to get to know her! The neighborhood is very well situated to reach the French Quarter, Marigny, and City Park. We did a mixture of walking, busses (very affordable and accessible from the B&B), pedi-cabs, and ride-sharing. The home was fun to stay in with the themed rooms, plus Betsy had it decked out in Mardi Gras flare! Everyone agreed that the home stayed quiet - no one upstairs heard folks downstairs, and no one downstairs heard folks upstairs, even when climbing stairs. Even though the B&B is near a busy street, we didn't hear any traffic at any time. It was too cold for most of us to enjoy the pool, but it created a relaxing atmosphere and respite from the city when it was sunny out. Breakfast is straightforward continental, and each day there was a little something "extra" that we didn't expect. We would be lucky to stay at Chez Palmier again, and hope we can return sooner than later!"

"A true Bed and Breakfast run by the owner who warmly brings you into her home. Beautiful rooms and property that expressed her character and desired guest experience. A little walk to the Quarter but after enjoying New Orleans its a great location. Excellent recommendations on what to do for the first time and a relaxing balance to where you are visiting. Thank you for having me as a guest. FYI: This is a respectful establishment...not for the 24 and a half hour party visitor."

"We loved our stay at this quaint B&B. Our room had so much personality and the amenities were much appreciated. We had a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee in the room. We were really shocked how spacious our room was. The breakfast in the morning was lovely! The host truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Just ask for anything you need and I believe they would try their best to accommodate. The location was great if you are looking to spend time on Frenchman street & only 10-15 mins from the heart of the French Quarter. We can’t recommend it enough!"
