"The place has its pros and cons. Great location sweet staff members comfortable beds and unique rooms and it was very quiet. 1st night was great 2nd day I woke up to shower to find that there was no hot water called the front desk maintenance came messed with the tub said he would be bk and never came bk so after 4 hrs of waiting for hot water they finally switched my room get to the 2nd room there was hot water and the room was bigger but the bathroom was nasty hair everywhere knob on tub was broke shower leaking all night mold on bathroom sink. The price is to high to have such issues but as stated other then that stay was nice oh was also not given the heads up to not lock the bottom lock when not in room has to wait like an hr to get in my room after a long night of drinking I would give this place a 2nd chance I just hope issues are corrected next time"
"We had an AMAZING experience at this hotel. The service was phenomenal, the staff was extremely friendly and communicative. The rooms were beautiful and cozy. This place is a perfect location for exploring the French Quarter and all it has to offer! As for the spooky side, we believe this place is absolutely haunted. We did a ghost hunt with Gators & Ghosts in the back house, and captured some amazing evidence with them. In our room, we had sheets being tugged off of us, drawers opened, stuff moved, and heard footsteps all over our room. If you are into the paranormal, this is a great place to stay!"
"This hotel offered an amazing experience! The staff was awesome! Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and fun. The room was nicely appointed but it DID need some dusting. Bathroom was clean and nicely decorated but you can tell it’s been lived in. Comfortable beds! Nice courtyard and walking distance to so many things! Great location; great staff! If they dust and get it a bit cleaner would be a perfect 10! Now let’s address the ghost stories. My husband is a medium and I was able to talk to Armand, Pierre and a Robert. The boys were very rambunctious, boys love playing on the stairs and they are just boys! They wouldn’t leave my husband alone because they had someone to talk to. I’m a teacher and told them either settle down or write me a hundred sentences. They decided to settle down and leave him alone. Next we spoke to a Robert, age 78, who drowned in Katrina. :( there was also a lady there I dreamt about, higher collar, she was dusting the furniture and hummed while cleaning and minding the boys. Overall: we did not feel threatened by the spirits there. Not malicious; they are just people who were still around … when we asked to sleep and for silence they left us alone for the most part. So yes, the ghost stories are true! We did have an excellent experience at the Andrew Jackson."
"Great location. Staff was great and very helpful. Stayed in room 106 in the Courtyard. Peaceful and enjoyable. Room was nice and clean. Provided coffee and water as shown in picture. Can't say for sure if haunted or not as everything we heard could be "explained away". People walking above in us the room did not exist. The hotel is part of the Paranormal Experience Tour."
"It's more like a guesthouse than a hotel; rooms up the stairs, down the hall. But good rooms and really good beds. Shower's hot and water pressure's good. And on the balcony an automatic plant watering system kicks in in the mornings some days. 90 degrees outside and the A/C was adequate. Friday night we must have got about ten ghost tours out front. Delightful. Nice to stay someplace easy just a three minute walk to Jackson Square."
