"Good value for space in room if traveling in group. But walls are very thin, can hear conversation in next room clear as day. They go on an honor system for quiet hours since there is no staff or much you can do about that, expect noisy neighbors and around Mardi gras, people playing music and partying next to you till 3 am. This was the worst insulated room I have stayed in. Not quiet at all, very loud. Watch the little fees such as doing the dishes or get charged, etc.,"
"It's like being in Vegas. The location is on the main drag and you have the best spot. It has a large 2nd floor balcony and a smaller 3rd floor one that wrap around the building. The building is renovated in a raw way leaving exposed old brick and new paint making it modern."
"The hotel is cute. Kinda old. Easy check in. You can hear everything outside. There is a parking garage just across the street a little ways. The area is a little sketchy. Pay attention to your surroundings. A few homeless people hanging around but it is New Orleans. Would stay here again."
"Stayed here for a couple days. I really enjoyed my stay. Although it's a little dated, its very quaint and in a super cool location. I absolutely love the balcony overlooking Canal street. I found the staff to be very personable. The building is secure and, kept clean. We booked the Queen suite. Which was a small loft that contained a bed & sofa sleeper. Both were very comfortable. The room was spacious. The kitchen & bathroom were both fully equipped with everything that we needed. I didn't care much for the spiral staircase or the dinette chairs, they were hard & uncomfortable. And the carpet in the spiral stairs looked worn & dirty. But, all in all, I would definitely stay there again. It's a great value for your money"
