"Please take caution when using this clinic animal friends. Family, friends, and I have had many issues with Halsey East Animal Clinic over the past few years. Moving here in 2020, we got our 3 animals established with Halsey East. Within our first few visits we noticed the unprofessional attitudes, inappropriate conversation amongst front desk staff, and general disorganization of the clinic. One of our doggos require extra care and medications to help manage back pain and allergies. We have had multiple instances of wrong medications being ordered, missed refills, and overall miscommunications to our poor pups detriment. We decided to take them to a different clinic as we didn't trust Halsey East had our best interest. We kept our annual visits for our cat with Halsey East as they were close in location & she has never had any health concerns. On her last annual visit with Halsey East, things were quite disorganized, environment and attitudes felt depressing. They also gave no warning that our cats license (which we got registered and set up through them previously) was about to expire, rather, they reported us to Multnomah County... I would heavily discourage using Halsey East Animal Clinic as they do not have your, or your pets best interest in mind. Reading through reviews before posing this also raises a lot of red flags, reviews of injections into wrong spots, wrong treatments, and needless tests/costs are all an absolute nightmare scenario for those of us who trust that the vet knows what they are doing..."

"My family and I have been utilizing this clinic's services since 2008 for our various pets over the years. They have always been kind, prompt, and compassionate. We have had some exotic pets over the years and have always been able to get appointments as needed. In the instances where we have had to say goodbye to a companion, they have been deeply respectful and also allowed us to be present for euthanasia so our little buddy didn't have to be alone."

"Absolutely terrible customer service. The front desk people need to find a different job position as customer service is not their specialty!! Called to establish my new animal at this clinic and they are the closest to me. The woman who answered the phone was short and very unpleasant. Asked for next available appointment and she just stated a day.. no time nothing else… I asked what time & she sighed like I was annoying her so I hung up and made an appointment at another clinic who was friendly and kind. I would never trust my pet at this clinic as they so very clearly do not enjoy helping animals!!"
