"Nice people so far in my experience, but my biggest complaint is that is takes DAYS for any purchase, card or otherwise, to show up online, making it extremely inaccurate to track balances online. I even wrote a check, that has been cleared on the receiving end, but does not show up as removed my account yet. I’m having a hard time understanding why it takes so much longer than *any* other bank or credit union that I’ve been with. (Edit: Just to add, there is not even a curtesy “pending” on pending purchases. It just doesn’t show up at all on my account.)"

"i came to this bank from wells fargo despite not actually having any problems with them because of everyone saying “big bank bad credit union good.” i kind of regret it as i had received better service from wells fargo. a while ago, i went into the branch because if you try to call their customer service you get someone on the opposite end of the planet over an unauthorized $100 charge on my account. i ask them to do a chargeback and they say they would, they close that account and set me up with a new checking account. but they never charge it back and eventually they just take a hundred dollars of my money WITHOUT permission or notice to cover the negative 100 in the closed account that was supposed to be charged back. what a joke, wells fargo charged things back for me no problem and when i called their customer support i was able to speak to someone in the same country. i’ll be closing my account very soon. you’re a pretty bad bank when someone came to yall from wells fargo and had better experience with them"

"I love OCCU. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. I’ve banked here for well over 10 years. They have approved me for multiple car loans and my home loan. I commute between Salem and Eugene so I can always find a bank if I have any questions. I feel bad for the people who have given this bank bad reviews because they have done nothing but go above and beyond for me and my family. I even got my partner to transfer over here after he’d been with Wells Fargo for 7 years."
