Hash: Centralia

"Revamped diner renovation. Almost no exterior plantings. Came for breakfast and upon entering were told to wait a few. The restaurant was at 10% full with two waitresses. We were seated in 5 minutes. The window booth had an extra wide wood table with a lacquer finish which needed polishing. The concrete floor was epoxied for easy cleaning. Wood tables surrounded us and there were retro items that went well with the diner theme. We ordered a Virgin bloody mary and water which arrived soon. I will say that the bloody mary was very good. We both ordered the plain Eggs Benedict. It came about 10 minutes later. A corn bread cake came soon after. Both dishes were like warm. The muffin was OK. The ham was good. The pushed eggs were cooked perfectly. The Hollandaise sauce was almost flavorless. The side of potatoes had good flavor but tasted old as if they had been sitting in a chafing dish a long time. The men's restroom is not ADA compliant for wheelchair access."

"Very nice clean restaurant. Friendly servers. I like the decor. We've been there four times in the past couple months and tried different items. My 13 year old wanted chicken strips and I'm glad the waitress suggested she order off the kids menu. She's not a big eater anyways so it was perfect for her and saved me money. Eggs Benedict is great on the value menu. Hope it stays that price. If you want your hashbrowns crispy definitely request it though. Will be back again and again."

"Wow. Great place. Food was not only delicious but the presentation was professional. I ordered the loco Moco and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rice served (I'm a rice snob). Prices were up like most places, so this probably won't be my normal hangout for breakfast, but if I wanted to impress out-of-town guests, this would be a no-brainer."

"Wanted to love it. My son took me to lunch, and we had heard great things about Hash. When we entered, it seemed empty except for a gentleman waiting in the foyer to be noticed. He said he had called in his order, and they took a long time to answer. We could hear many voices in a distant room, so perhaps there was a party booked? The waitress was friendly. My son ordered corned beef hash. The rye toast and marionberry jam were great. The eggs were good. The hash browns were not crispy at all. They were cooked but disappointing. I had the meat lover's omelet. It was good, tasty even. I gave the side to my son but ended up taking them home to feed my chickens.The potatoes were not great. They were just okay. I am going to assume this was a one-off and try another day in the future."

"Super fast service and seating, drinks and food were made to order and very tasty. We ordered: Beecher cheese egg Benedict French Toast w/ Sausage patty Mushroom fries with chili sauce Drinks were: House classic Bloody Mary- very spicy, salty and tasty!! Orange juice and a cappuccino which had a nice amount of foam on top."
