"Wonderful service. Kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was really clean and organized. We ordered the chicken parmesan. It was a big breast, and it was not cooked all the through. The server noticed I was not eating my lunch. She apologized when she saw how raw it was and returned with what I thought was a new order. This is where I lowered my stars. Not because it was undercooked, things like this happen. It was how they rendered the situation. They filleted my original breast cutting off the breading on the bottom half and then refried it. I couldn’t cut through it, and it lost so much flavor because the breading was cut off the bottom half. I ended up not eating it because it was so tough to cut. I moved onto the most delicious cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my life. You win some, you lose some. We will definitely be back."
"We were disappointed in the quality of the food. The clam chowder was very soupy and lacked flavor, as it didn’t seem to have much or any cream added. The accompanying salad was mostly lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber, and 3 tomatoes slices. For ~$20 per item, not a great value. We threw the food away."
"First visit and I am thoroughly impressed. Staff was enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean with a great layout providing 2 and 4 tops and booths. The tables were situated to be bright (large natural light), normal or cozy niches with dimmer lighting. Staff is the best I have encountered in a long time. The food was amazing and unless you're really hungry, you will more than likely be taking a leftover container. Open for breakfast and lunch (5p.m. closed). They do have the option for takeout. I will be going back and referring it to everyone! Yummy yummy scale gets a 10 across the board from me!!! Thanks for a great visit and meal!!"
"If I could give 6 stars I would. The restaurant is located in a historic building in the heart of the downtown community. The atmosphere is cozy and quite charming. The staff is very professional knowledgeable of the food, and just downright good people. This was my first occasion to visit and I wasn’t sure what I wanted off the menu, in an effort to try something new I asked the waitress to order for me. She brought me one of the most amazing omelettes I have ever had the pleasure of devouring if you have not stopped into the Berry Fields Café, I highly recommend you do so. The sign on the door also mentions they have desserts, sounds like I might need to make another trip down here"
"This is half of my plate! My husband and I shared an omlett, which was the best we had ever had. The prices are high for one breakfast but if you can share it is reasonable. The gravy we got as a side order was excellent. We would totally go there again."
