"It was clean. That’s the positive I can say about it. The Mexican night wasn’t good. The salsa is literally Pace from a jar. The chips are stale. The queso either had way too much salt or some other strange flavor that was not good. It took so long to get our food and we were there towards the beginning of the night with hardly anyone there."
"This temporary Mexican menu is not good. Chicken burrito was extra salty, Carne asada was bland and missing tortillas, the chicken tortilla soup chicken was rubbery. It also took forever for the main course to come."
"Good food! Unique options for an all you can eat breakfast buffet. They have a create your own omelette station, biscuits and gravy, eggs, frittatas, bacon, sausage, breakfast pizza, waffles and much more. We spent $83 for 2 adults and 1 kiddos. (younger kids 3 and under are free). Plus you do have to pay for drinks. The convince of rolling out of bed and hitting the buffet was nice. Would not recommended it unless your actually staying here and just looking for easy. Our waitress Brenda was very nice. Even though it’s a self serve breakfast buffet she was very diligent on making sure our drinks were topped off and we had everything we could need. I’d easily eat here again next time we stay as long as the price doesn’t go up a single cent."
"During COVID, I saw a "buffet" was close to me & thought great! I went, ate, got my bill & was floored: $35 before tip for 1 person buffet! The food was not $35 good, as this was before post-COVID prices skyrocketed. Haven't gone back. I go to buffets in Tacoma. Puyallup, as far as Federal Way, because even with travel time & fuel, they're better buffets for the $$. The service was poor, but not because the workers didn't do a good job, they were overwhelmed, & needed a couple more floor people that day. I don't know if prices have increased in the 19 months since. Sorry GWL, hope you take this to heart & make prices more consistent with other buffets rather than with steak & seafood houses."
"Great offering of buffet items from top to bottom! They had eggs so many different ways (scrambled, hard boiled, frittata, build your own omelets) and all of the trimmings (bacon, sausage links/patties, hashbrowns). They had a couple different breakfast pizza options, oatmeal, toast/bagels with cream cheese or jam, fresh fruit, yogurt, and all of the pastries you could imagine! This buffet is pretty inclusive. It even had kid friendly options like corn dogs, Mac and cheese, and ice cream for breakfast! Only downside is the cost."
