"Great Airport. Nice Staff. Clean Facilities. Hometown feel. New Wing and New Restaurants. Long & Short term Parking available. Lyft, Uber, Taxis, Hired vans, Limousines, Madison Metro and more offer transportation to and from the airport into the downtown Madison Capitol and College Campus areas. Beautiful landscapes and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. I always love the lights and the decorations here."

"Lets start with the good: 1. Flying out of Dane County Regional is very convenient if you live in the Madison metro area. Parking is very cheap by airport standards and super close to the airport. 2. It's almost never busy, and you can get through security quickly. Now for the bad: 1. I can't stress this enough - it's ASTRONOMICALLY expensive. The "cheapest" flight options have terrible schedules, almost always have connections, and are STILL crazy expensive. Serious example, I just went to book a flight and they wanted over $700 for 1 ticket to Orlando, at the crack of dawn, WITH a connecting flight. A DIRECT flight at 1:00 in the afternoon out of Milwaukee was $400 through Southwest. Easy choice. 2. The food options are very limited. I mean, this is pretty much an afterthought, since nobody is connecting in Madison, so you're either getting home and just leaving the airport, or you're getting there 40 minutes before your flight, but still. If you have an early morning flight and want to eat before you leave, don't expect to have many choices. And they'll be pricey."

"It works efficiently. Practically no advantage for pre-TSA approved travellers, all were fast. This is small but they have several dedicated comfort zones throughout, emulators of meeting room, living room and importantly kids area. Not in that indestructible prison plastic, but nice! Very chilled. Super nice personnel. Not that you have many alternatives, but this is a welcome experience. Thank you, Dane staff. I have a new favorite airport."

"Busy but easy to navigate. During the night it is pretty quiet and empty but car rentals are available and transportation is easy to come by (taxi, Uber, Lyft). There is a single terminal and the gates are very short walkable distance. The waiting seats inside and outside are comfortable and rarely occupied. As for food options there are a few due to the size of the airport. Nonetheless the options are great!"
