"I love living here. The location cannot be beat. Apartments are well maintained. Management is kind and helpful. Maintenance is efficient. Neighbors are quiet and friendly. I don't plan on moving anytime soon."

"I genuinely enjoy living here. They cover the normal utilities and parking is even included. Which seems to be unheard of around Madison. Everyone wants to charge you for everything. Rent has gone up but it isn't so much to force you to move out. The pool and outdoor grill are some of my favorite ammendities. Maintence is always quick and helpful. Overall a decent place to live."

"We signed a one year lease with Leopold Place. The apartment complex and grounds are very well kept. The location is in a prime area of Sun Prairie and relatively close to East Towne Mall in Madison. We were told that Leopold Place is a pet friendly location; however, we do not believe this to be completely true. We signed the lease with a registered emotional support animal (dog). All has been good with Heather, the property manager, regarding our ESA. We have experienced first hand issues with Barb, the groundskeeper, and our ESA. My wife has been approached by her multiple times in a harassing manner regarding our ESA. Heather has not been very responsive to our emails either. We have emailed her regarding important items and she has not responded in a timely matter or responded at all. Midway through our lease, our garbage disposal began leaking water considerably. We filled out a maintenance request requesting the service to be completed on a certain day so that we can remove our ESA from the room while the repairs were being made. On the requested day, we never received a completed maintenance request notice. Nearing the end of our lease, we agreed with Heather that we would move out early in order to accommodate a possible new tenant that was very interested. She stated that if the tenant moved in early as we moved out early, we would receive a refund on our rent. Heather failed to mention to us that the prospective tenant lost interest in the apartment resulting in us moving out early and losing the refunded rent. Furthermore, we had multiple issues with our security deposit being returned on time. I contacted Heather multiple times regarding our security deposit and she would give us open ended answers stating that, "It has been mailed last week", or "It should be in the mail and will be there sometime this week." After receiving no progress on our security deposit, I called Oak brook Corporation directly to get answers. The accounting department noticed that the security deposit was returned to them as the forwarding address was not valid. Even after turning in all paperwork regarding our new forwarding address, Heather still sent it to the wrong address and did not bother to look into why we had not received our security deposit. In addition, the names were wrong on our security deposit check. All in all, our lease at Leopold Place was full of disappointment. I have attempted to contact Oak brook Corporation directly through their website regarding our multiple issues and have not heard anything."

"Nice, quiet, and well-maintained property. Maintenance is fast and responsive. They proactively maintain and upgrade the amenities on the grounds...new grills, patio furnishings, etc. Nice value for the money. Love the fact they now have access to a fiber internet connection! LP is a breath of fresh air from what I was used to renting other places. Heather, the on-site manager is great to deal with. Prompt replies and very attentive to tenants' needs and requests. Despite what one other reviewer said, they are NOT responsible for shoveling your patio and state that up-front. They will do it as a courtesy, IF you remove your outdoor furniture first. This will be the first apartment I will be sad to leave, when we decide to move."
