The Wildwood at Main

"If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I see a lot of people complaining about the $500 deposit but honestly you should be happy you didn’t get accepted to live here. I’ve only been here since September and I can’t wait to move out. The staff is nice, but the people who live in this building are super inconsiderate of everyone else. Dog poop in the hallways, weed and cigarette smoke throughout the building and in the storage rooms/stairways. We live on the first floor and our neighbors above us are EXCEPTIONALLY loud. Pounding, slamming, stomping and always at 2 or 3 in the morning. I have a two year old son and he is waken up out of his sleep almost every single night because you can hear every step people take upstairs. The apartments look really nice on the inside, but everything is made super cheap. Police are here every single day. Trust me, you don’t want to live here."

"Extremely unprofessional staff. I had two tour appointments scheduled. One they canceled an hour before with no reason and took 5 days to respond. The other due to bad weather (Which isn't really a problem, but still). I've emailed them and called them to reschedule yet again to absolutely no response to either. Save your time and choose a better place."

"For an apartment complex that helps the community for more affordable housing it’s ridiculous that you take 500. I’d understand a last minute back out fee but it is Ridiculous for this amount of money. We have been more than patient with your company and I hope you revise your policy so other family’s don’t have to go through this. We had to move to other apartments, due to the last min changes in other’s experiences on google reviews and our unpleasant experience through the application process. We can’t risk being homeless especially having children. Don’t apply here unless you have lots of time and money to waste."

"What a true blessing! I am absolutely amazed at how wonderful, friendly, professional everyone is at Wildwood at Main! Julie is such a wonderful person, she works so hard in trying to show apartments that would fit your needs and she truly enjoys her job. Amber, is a Godsent. Amber does not waste time in processing new tenants paperwork! Amber loves her job and she is so excited to be able to call with the great news of “Picking up your keys”! I appreciate her commitment and determination to get me in before Christmas! The apartments are beautiful and very well maintained and beautiful."

"Unfortunately my experience is similar to other reviews here. They are inaccurate in their income-restricted calculations. They made me re-submit documents that they already had (I could actually see their copies on the online portal and yet they still asked for more and made me submit items again which further delayed the process). They did not answer why they needed the information other than to claim it was because of regulations. I get due diligence, but they were way out of line with their requests and slow processing. I would get a different person answering emails or be bounced between random people. They never say who the “3rd party compliance” company is. They strung me along for 6.5 weeks, causing significant stress in my housing situation when I had to vacate my place. They are now denying my refund of my $500 earnest money deposit, despite the fact they were grossly over the 21 day limit wherein if they don’t make a decision on an application, a tenant is owed a refund. They then sent a bogus denial letter over a week after I was told that an approval had gone through. (they had allegedly approved me yet it was too late. I already had to move out of my prior place and the movers had left). Something is very shady about how they run things and I would strongly recommend staying far away."
