"As many of these reviews have stated, if 0 stars was an option, that is what I would have selected. Management was late to both our tour of the apartment as well as our key pick up, leaving us waiting for close to a half hour each time to get into the apartment. When we toured the apartment, the previous owners had left the pace absolutely filthy! The carpet was very stained and disgusting and we were told by management that they would either refurbish the wood floors underneath or put in new carpet if the wood floor was not in good shape. However, we moved in to wood floors covered in water damage and burn marks rather than the refurbished floors we were promised. When we reached out to management about this, they were very rude and brushed our concerns aside. The apartment was also very dirty when we moved in, which doesn’t make sense when management will charge cleaning fees if it is not clean enough upon move out. One would expect to move in to a clean apartment if they are charging to have it cleaned. In addition, there was staining on the kitchen floors and sink when we moved in which we were charged a cleaning fee upon move out. When our outlets didn’t work and our garbage disposal was broken it took a long time for management to send someone out to fix it. In addition, management was very rude whenever we were in contact with them, especially when it came to the end of our lease. Make sure that you document everything with pictures and writing or they will try to charge you for it! I do not recommend these apartments!"
"Since the first day of move-in I knew this place would be bad news. Nobody showed up on move-in day to let us in, we were left in the lawn with another tenant waiting for somebody to show up. Once inside two hours later, the unit was filthy. Like, dirty footprints on the walls and leftover ramen in the kitchen filthy. Even though we were promised a cleaning crew would have been there three weeks prior. Had several break-ins, vandalism, and car thefts, and the blame has been put on tenants every time. Slurs were keyed into our storage unit door, and when confronted to fix it, management claimed they didn't see it after police left, gaslighting us into thinking it was never there. Door was shoddily painted over six months later instead of being replaced. Leaks in basement, cracked asbestos piping, and the water quality is so bad that it has killed many of my houseplants. Company never picks up calls. The only time they seem to care about contacting you is when you're a day late for rent. Takes them weeks to months to get anything fixed. Do not rent here."
"Renter beware!! I lived at this complex for 2 years. The original property manager, Jessica, was wonderful; however, after living there for a little while, a new property manager, took over. I paid my rent on time every month, though every time I seemed to call regarding something that needed to be repaired, I was met with rudeness and it took an inordinate amount of time for anyone to fix the issue. Upon moving out of the complex, I was given instructions for cleaning the property. I scrubbed and cleaned every inch of the apartment. The instructions stated to remove nails and that I did not need to patch them because this would be done while maintenance re-painted for a new tenant. Therefore, I did not patch the holes. A month later, I received a letter charging me $55.00 per hole that needed to be patched. They also charged me for mildew in the bathroom that was there when I moved in. Important to note, two months after moving in, I called about said mildew. Maintenance came to remove the mildew and the property manager told me, “this is a normal process, it is not mold.” Upon moving out, the tub was scrubbed relentlessly, though there was still some mildew, as the bathroom tiles and tub are very old. Yet, I was charged for it being there. Upon moving in, a bike rack, air conditioner, and box of CDs was left in my personal storage unit. Upon moving out, those items were left-as they were not mine. The new property manager charged me for those items being left in the storage unit, as well. Strongly suggest finding a different place to live."
"I wish there were zero stars. When I first wanted to rent the apartment, nobody showed up after scheduling a viewing. Eventually I was able to see the apartment and signed a lease. The day I was scheduled to move in, the building manager was completely unaware and the apartment had not yet been cleaned or even emptied. I was told there were planning to replace the carpet but they didn't know I was arriving, so they would do it when I left. They sent someone to clean the kitchen after I had been there. I also signed a lease saying I would be provided with a air conditioner but there was not one on site and the company told me that was too bad and they weren't not going to provide one. After two building managers left, there was nobody on site for the next year that I lived there. As long I needed nothing, it wasn't a bad place to live. The price was good and the location was ideal. After I moved out, they told me that I owed money to replace the carpet. When I called back to resolve this issue they told me they no longer had any of the paperwork from when I moved in but they would get it worked out. I never received a call back and have not had any of my calls answered or returned since the conversation. Also, instead of contacting me back-they sent the bill into collections. I am still calling with no response. It is a real nightmare to work with this company."
"When we moved in the apartment was filthy. I mean, truly covered in grime and dirt. Hardware on the tub was not sealed at all despite requesting it several times. Management is really really bad. As an example, I returned from vacation to find three voicemails over the course of 4 days threatening to evict me due to an "incomplete pet form." We had lived there for almost a year and had never owned a pet. Management is rude, has never actually picked up a call directly, incompetent, and to top it all off, all official documents and ceremonies must be done in Oak Creek. But the apartment is cheap."
