"I stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding at the Florian next door. I feel so bad that this hotel is next to the Florian because it is no where near the same standard when it comes to cleanliness and service. The bathroom smelt like sewer when we first came in. There was a pad wedged in the lock of the connecting doors. We had to ask for all new sheets because there were stains. The pullout mattress was straight from a SAW movie. The TV stations did not work or align to the guide. The lights from the parking lot felt like they were shining directly into the room. Majority of the people staying there for the wedding had issues with their reservations. The staff didn't seem to communicate with each other in between shifts. We had received permission from the front desk to have some family in the breakfast area after the wedding for some snacks. When we arrived the night front desk person said we can't go back there and had us all go by the fire place in the front."

"If you've seen other reviews, first off: no snakes or signs of snakes. The room was decently clean, the sheets were clean, everything was fine. Not the absolute cleanest, but as a basic hotel room it did the job and no major complaints."

"I hate to leave bad reviews, but I have to inform people before they spend money here. This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. When I entered my room, it smelled like something died in it. It was clear that the staff was aware of the smell because both windows were wide open on a 40° degree night. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for another room, but the hotel was sold out for the night. I asked if there was anything that can be done about the smell, and I was given fabreeze by the front desk clerk. When I returned to my double bed room to try to get comfortable i realized the sheets had stains on them and smelled used. At this point I'm questioning if this room was even cleaned before I checked in. Instead of letting it infuriate me I tried to get comfortable in the second bed, but it also had stains! I covered the mattress with the bath towels from the bathroom in an attempt to try to get comfortable. Just when I started to wind down I noticed 2 bugs crawling on the head board. This is when I started to call other hotels to see if they can accommodate me. Everyone was sold out. I buckled down and attempted to get some sleep, but because of fear of waking up covered in the bugs, I slept with the lights on and woke up checking my surroundings constantly. I left first thing in the morning about 8am. I couldn't wait to get out of that place."

"Booked a room for Friday October 20 2023 , $200 , my daughter and I checked in around 4:15 , we went to our room and noticed poop stains in the bathroom (explosive diarrhea spots), as well as what appears to be public hair in the toilet, my 9 year old suggested to ask front desk if they could clean that bathroom,we got swimsuits and walked towards the pool, before entering the pool I sopped at the front desk and ask the lady if someone could clean our bathroom, she acted confused and said , “I’m not understanding, is it not clean”, she seemed annoyed (rude), I mean, what you think?, if a client is telling you to clean it , OBVIOUSLY is not clean lol , I didn’t engage in conversation with her since we didn’t like the way she was speaking to us , we went to the pool area and spent around 90 minutes swimming , went back to the room, and noticed that they did not clean the bathroom, they didn’t care about my request whatsoever, we got dressed and got out of the property for good , it’s sad , I’m a single mom and $200 it’s a decent amount of money , at the very least I expect a clean bathroom, specially after I pointed out the issues, we ended up spending the night with family members , situation I wanted to avoid, that’s why I booked the hotel in the first place. Disappointed overall, pool and hot tub is nice tho , hopefully that lady is nicer to others, it’s sad because she is a minority and so am I , where is the empathy?"

"My husband and I were on our way home to Illinois from northern Wisconsin when the alternator on our car went out. We made it to a gas station before it died completely. This was 7:30 pm and we couldn't get a tow truck until early the next morning. This hotel was right next door. When we explained our situation to Elizabeth the manager, they were very nice and took very good care of us and made us very comfortable. It made a uncomfortable situation much more bearable. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!"
