"My review is for Alex Rojas. I submitted a maintenance request to have the bathroom faucet fixed. He was very polite, understood when I asked not to enter with shoes in the apartment, did a great job fixing the faucet and made sure I had no further questions before he left. Great job and thank you for the great service."

"Don't rent here. The mailbox for my building was broken into in February 2023. It is now August and mailbox has not been fixed. Everyone in my building is going to the post office to pick up their mail. Landlord has refused to fix and instead decided to raise my rent $300. Speaking of rent increase. This is the second rent increase in the last 21 months. I'm now paying $550 more than my initial rental price. My car was also broken into around February 2023. Alerted management and no action was taken. Within two weeks multiple other residents had their car broken into and a email was finally sent out warning other residents. This is place is owned by an out of state law firm that will follow the letter of the law to raise rent by maximum amount legally allowed by San Diego and spend as little money as possible on their community."

"Absolutely insane red flags everywhere. They want you to sign the lease and move in blind. They have no tours, no photos, not even information on what the fixtures or features are of each apartment. Asking $2700 for that. Gtfoh. RUN from this place and this company. It’s a shame they have a complete monopoly on apartments in San Diego county. Elan is a sham."

"We were so satisfied in our unit in Elán Alicante Apartments. The management were super helpful, understanding and helpful. Our neighbors were so friendly. Everyone made good memories for us :)"

"Elan Alicante Apartments is terrible. They will cheat and lie in an effort to keep all of your security deposit. Rent will increase after every leasing period. Everyone has large dogs and the walls are super thin. This leads to all types of problems if you do or do not own a dog as well. I would give a 0 star rating if possible. Just a total bs complex, management is beyond ridiculous. I know housing with large dogs is tough in SD but I assure you this place is not cool."
