"Okay I will say that this is one of my go-to hotels. I visit Carlsbad every other week. So for the most part, it’s clean, comfortable, and mostly quiet. The breakfast is decent and has a good options. The only things I would suggest is they need to upgrade their key cards. They tend to demagnetize and it’s not always because you’re near your phone or keys. Sometimes some of the other guests are loud, and I think the hotel should implement a policy on noise after a certain time. Other than that, I really enjoy this place, the people who work here are great and overall it’s a good hotel."

"A little customer service goes a long way. This location has an abundance of excellent customer service. Diana and Laura are absolute professionals. Location good. Breakfast good. The property has some blemishes. Third party booking somehow put us in ADA room where the bathroom tub had paint peeling off in large patches and the entire bathroom flood flooded with a shower. Next room - the fan was making very loud, high pitched noise - while the fan was off. The staff are absolutely wonderful!!"

"Great location to beach and Legoland But maid forgot to leave any clean towels as where we had used all of the towels in the room. Front desks agent was great and quickly took care of the issue, room was kinda small and the breakfast buffet was nice and clean with the basics. Would recommend for a weekend stay"

"Great location near beach, shopping and Legoland. Lovely hotel with beautiful bird of paradise flowers all around. Ample parking. Nice pool with Southern exposure. Jacuzzi fun and not too hot and open till 10. Was never crowded when I was there. Great breakfast with waffles, cinnamon-raisin bagels, muffins, eggs, etc. There’s even shredded cheese to put on the eggs. Hot cocoa and herbal tea lacking from breakfast beverage selection."

"Staff is friendly. The rooms are small but fairly clean. They didn't give us enough pillows or towels really so we had to get more. Breakfast was pretty decent. We had issues with our key and could not access the fitness facility at all. No one offered to let us in either when we told front desk about it. My biggest gripe is paper thin walls and being kept awake by freeway noise. You get what you pay for though and it was the most affordable place in the area. Super close to Legoland food places."
