Days Inn by Wyndham Carlsbad 3700 Pio Pico Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008

"We stayed here for a few nights and unfortunately it was a bad idea. We wish the hotel was a little nicer as shown in the photos. The first surprise was that they only have complementary breakfast (even though the website says breakfast is included). Secondly, it is located near the I5 highway, and it is almost impossible to sleep at night due to the noise. Finally, the place is not very clean: stains on the sheets and the smell of the old room leaves an unpleasant impression."

"when checking in the person at the desk, charged my card on someone else’s room and put their card on my room. And then had a scribbled the receipt and right over it only to find out that my room was charged three times and cannot get the money back right away and my bank thinks it was a fraudulent charge and then my card has to be replaced , even though I told him what had happened. This was the biggest headache and I still haven’t gotten all the money back and they kept trying to charge the correct price to my card. Thankfully my card has been frozen because of their mistakes already. My brother also has a charge of $200 on his card that is from Days Inn but they don’t know why it is not giving the money back. The Breakfast was a joke. Just warm juice coffee and dollar store cakes."

"Forgot toothpaste and they had some! The overnight lady was so accommodating and friendly. Our room was big and clean. Road noise wasn’t too noticeable, but it’s a solid economy room"

"Upon arriving I must say I was impressed with the outside decor and the entrance lobby. When you first walk in and you see everything the way it's set up and how the general overall Vibe is very pleasing you can't help but feel like you're stepping into the first house you ever owned. You just get an overall feeling of content. I've had a stressful last week having to come back to California so unexpected but once I got to my room kicked off my shoes and laid back I could feel all the stress just dripping away the staff was incredible and very friendly and usually when you go to a hotel that tends to be of this caliber oddly enough you don't get what you paid for. This place is worth every Penny and worth the time I took out to write this review. Make time for the small things in life and take time out to smell the roses. And if your lucky enough to get a room here by the time you check out you will definitely have an experience to talk about."

"The lady went in the room to do the check out inspection and return the deposit. She already had her mind made up to keep the deposit and she saw that nothing was broken or missing and the room was in almost perfect condition she made up something out of the pettiest thing, she said that a little make up smudge on the bed spread was reason enough to keep the deposit even though I told her that I needed to feed my kids with that money because they told me they had free breakfast there and they did not so I was really counting on that money to buy breakfast."
