"Amazing location and awesome space if you're just one person or a couple (not meant for families really). Some very quirky management. For example, my SDG&E bill was $277 this month, keeping thermostat at 61 degrees. Previous months were $61. Come to find out, Bluwater had never turned on the heat in my apt. so the expense was just the fan trying to crank out heat 24/7, to no avail. They refuse to give us any credit for this, which is the only reason I'm posting this negative review. So while I'm at it ... Garage door has been stuck open for a couple of months and the complex just issued notices that there have been thefts, so be warned. (How difficult is it to fix a garage door?). Kids sneak into the garage to ride their skateboards. No security cameras at the complex. A few flukey design issues ... there are no overhead lights in the upstairs or downstairs, except for the kitchen and bathrooms. You'll have to use lamps or hire someone to install overheads in your 30-foot loft ceiling. Master suite has the world's strangest closet -- extremely inefficient and they won't let you reconfigure the awkward space. They are trying to sell these lofts for $700k and $350/month HOA for virtually no amenities except for underground parking ... with a garage door that doesn't shut. There are gas fire pits in the common area but they have never worked. For a contemporary place, they haven't figured out the whole Internet thing. They put paper notices on your door but never email you about apartment issues. If you want a big, open contemporary space in a great location, Bluwater's great. Otherwise, they've got some serious customer-service issues to figure out."
