"Adjusted the review after moving out. The building is fine, still great staff who can help you. Packages: They’ve improved on the packages, to store them after hours if not claimed. My previous message was “If you want your package stolen and your elevators vandalized so you can’t use them for a couple of weeks, then you should live here.” neighborhood Non existent really, very quiet but accessible to the bart People in the building Fine, won’t get neighborly vibes. People don’t treat the shared amenities with respect. I was once trying to grill (shared space) and got yelled at by this dude who was in his apartment and left his chicken on the grill to “wait my turn”."

"Pershante Hill was our tour guide today Jan 2 for a 1 bedroom apartment. He was very knowledgeable about all the amenities and information about the apartment building. He was friendly, welcoming and a great tour guide!"

"Great location, clean, and good amenities like nice kitchen or 24-hr gym, I particularly liked that the windows are double paned and how bedrooms are typically facing the center of the property. I work nights and even on the second floor I could barely hear any street noise when trying to sleep. I really enjoyed the community events the building put on such as BBQs and Halloween parties, I made some good friends from those events and hope they continue doing them. I have personnaly had nothing but good interactions with the building management, specifically with Pershante and Isaiah. In my experience management was responsive and helpful from moving in, getting repairs done relatively quickly, and assisting with the process of breaking my lease early. The only downsides of the buildings I can think of are: 1) The fire alarms are very sensitive, usually resulting in a false alarm every few months. 2) They have recently had issues with the two elevator locations resulting in one or the other being down for a few days to a couple weeks which is mildly inconvenient. Overall, I would recomend this building to anyone who wants a modern apartment with nice amenities that is walkable to anywhere in Downtown Oakland. I would continue to live here if I did not have to move for work."

"I was interested in viewing this property, but who ever Morgan is, s/he has changed my mind of interest. The fact that I asked a simple question: “how much is parking?” Could not be answered. Instead, this person proceeded to tell me what amenities the property offers, and when I sent a reply, asking for the price of parking a second time, it was still ignored. It was met with a link to schedule a tour of the property. At this point, this person has definitely set a negative tone of what communication would be like living at a place like this. Therefore, I have zero interest and will remove this property from my list of potentials. Hopefully no one else has this type of experience but it is completely unacceptable to me that a staff member would ignore the question of a potential resident."
