"Great 1-night stay at this property. Greeted with a friendly staff member and a check-in process. The rooms and lobby was stylish and very clean. The rooms were a bit small however the bathroom is huge! We did get an appetizer and coffee at the onsite restaurant and it was good, again very friendly staff. One thing that could be improved was the amount of fruit flies in the lobby due to the main doors being kept open."
"Wanted to give an honest review of my stay here. The lobby and hotel are beautiful, but my room smelled like a burning plastic that never went away the full 4 days. Had to go buy a room scent refresher from target to handle the strong odor. I had a king room with a terrace which sounds lovely! But zero privacy, especially as a woman staying alone in a hotel. I shared a picture to show how people in neighboring rooms could literally see me laying in bed. The terrace is almost connected to everyone else's terrace, with very low partitions. Tried to keep my door open to help with the odor, but could hear people talking like they were sitting right next to me. Also glad to have a fridge but they are designed to keep nothing in them lol. The " shelves " on the door prevents anything from being stored inside, could only fit one can of soda. Got a room to celebrate my birthday but all in all, would not stay again."
"While I was eating at Otto’s in the Kissel hotel, my car got vandalized and my sister-in-law’s luggage was stolen from the trunk. I was parked in front of the hotel, which I believed was a safe place. To add insult to injury I was told by the front desk that this had happened 3 times in the past week. Needless to say that they did nothing and there were no signs not to park there. Also, not sure what’s the use of having a “security” guard there… About the luggage: my sister-in-law was in town for a wedding that was taking place the next morning and all her stuff was gone. We scrambled to get her a coat, shoes, makeup and the list goes on… I am not proud of this city."
"Nice hotel nice service. My gripe is the same as many: they do NOT have a rooftop bar. In fact, on a Friday night they wouldn't even let me go outside on the roof if I didn't specifically have a reservation for the (empty) rooftop bar...even though I was a guest at the hotel... it was a bummer to walk around outside in the dark cold in this grungy neighborhood and not even get to enjoy this so called rooftop bar they keep bragging about."
"The room and hotel were very nice. The only real downside is that there is no microwave or fridge. But you can request a microwave to your room if you need one. There is a bar on the 1st floor and the hotel also has a fitness center that is nice as well. There is a roof top bar, but you currently have to walk out of the hotel and around the corner to get to it. It's less than a minute walk and the atmosphere it provides is well worth it. The hotel is close to plenty of venues like bars and shopping centers. I walked to Target which was probably about a 5 minute walk. I was here for the weekend for a wedding which around 400 people were in attendance."
