AC Hotel by Marriott Oakland Downtown

"Beautiful hotel. It's kinda just stuck in there. You don't expect it to be there, but it's really nice. The room was big and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly, and the bar was nice and relaxing. A big breakfast selection was offered."

"Nice clean rooms. The bar doesn't have very many food options. The protein option seem to all be pork :-/ ...not okay.. In the evening, it would be helpful to have access to more options without having to venture out when it's dark...not safe. Their breakfast costs $20...not okay."

"Surprisingly pleasant! Room was exceptionally clean and includes breakfast. Gym was nice, not much as far as equipment but enough. No onsite dinning - outside of buffet style breakfast, decent bar. Several restaurants close, but close early. Parking is 50 bucks per night w/in and out privileges."

"I loved that the sofa bed was awesome. It was 3 of us so we each had our own bed. I also liked the electric blinds and blackout shades. It is very modern. Wood floors and benches. There is a design flaw in that you have no place to hang your clothes. Also mandatory $50 valet but those folks were awesome. The breakfast was good. I love scones and coffee was good. I didn't eat anything else but it looked good. I personally wouldn't pay $20 for it. It was free that day. I would stay there again!"

"I had a fantastic stay at the AC Hotel in downtown Oakland! This modern gem deserves a solid 5-star rating. The hotel is relatively new, and it shows in its well-maintained facilities. One notable feature is the valet-only parking, which made my stay hassle-free from the start. Although the lobby is on the smaller side, it has a welcoming ambiance. Security on site added to the peace of mind. While there's no pool, the hotel does have a gym, which was a plus for staying active during my visit. The bar exceeded my expectations with a great selection and ambiance. One thing to note is that there's no room service, but that didn't bother me as I ordered in from local dining options. I stayed for two nights and found the bathrooms to be clean and stylish. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, and the Air conditioning work’s amazing ensuring a good night's sleep. Overall, the AC Hotel in downtown Oakland offers a pleasant stay with its modern amenities, great views of downtown, and comfortable accommodations. I would definitely return for another visit!"
