"As a resident for two years now (planning on staying another 2 years for college), I am not only genuinely and completely satisfied, but more than overly gratified. I hardly write any reviews on Yelp, Google, or any crowd-sourced review app/business, so I hope my review holds a lot of weight for any future residents. First and foremost, I would like to give Maithy a huge shoutout. Maithy has helped me transfer units very smoothly and efficiently, making the transfer process very simple. She always responds to my emails very quickly and is always there to help in any way she can. She always has a great attitude even while multi-tasking or helping a resident with a quick question on their way out. I have had 0 problems with Maithy and I would even change that number 0 to -1 problems to show how it is impossible to not genuinely appreciate Maithy as part of The Logan Staff. With all seriousness and jokes aside, Maithy has been very helpful while staying at The Logan. Thank you Maithy. Second, I would like to thank Erika for always being there to help me when I have a quick question either about the resident portal or any questions while living at The Logan. Erika has helped me solve some technical problems on the resident portal, answered any questions about the amenities at The Logan, and always has a positive attitude. She has helped with my transfer process to another unit very smooth as well and I always end up finding out the answers to my questions from Erika or Maithy. Thank you Erika. Third, I want to take this time to thank Kevin. He is always so chill and helps me if Maithy or Erika is not available, and his act of service is very respectful and considerate. Thank you Kevin. To John the maintenance technician and cleaning staff, I seriously appreciate their hard work in fulfilling any work orders, maintaining functionality and cleanliness throughout the whole complex, and always having such a great and welcoming attitude to all the residents. I hope my time at The Logan can demonstrate how awesome it is to be a resident here. To be evident, from the quick responses from The Logan staff, hardly any maintenance request orders I have submitted (probably 1 throughout the past 2 years) and being fulfilled sometimes in the same day or latest few business days, first floor welcoming atmosphere by the staff and environment, the respect and consideration of all members of the staff, the rooftop views of Downtown Oakland, San Francisco, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Sather Tower at UC Berkeley, etc., modern and clean interior designs of each unit, 24/7 accessible gym with all the equipment needed, communal areas in the first floor and mezzanine floor to study or hangout with friends, cleaning staff maintaining sanitation and cleanliness throughout the whole complex, Whole Foods being steps away from your apartment (literally first floor of the complex), 24/7 security, extremely fast internet and wifi, resident portal having a very straightfoward and simple interface, and many more qualities and amenities that The Logan has to offer, I can honestly and transparently say that you will have the same experience as a resident here at The Logan due to the amazing staff and convenient amenities. Once again, I seriously appreciate Maithy, Erika, Kevin, John, and all the other amazing staff members at The Logan. Just to remind anyone reading this review again, this is probably the fourth or fifth time I've ever taken time out of my day (not to sound like nothing is worth my time) to write a review on any website or app. I hope this review holds a significant amount of weight in your decision in choosing The Logan."
"I've got a few more weeks left here at Logan, and I must say that my initial intention was to give this place a three-star rating. However, I'm now pleased to admit that my satisfaction level has surged to 100%, all thanks to the new staff this year. During the time when Yessenia and Cassandra were managers, I never felt at ease due to the lack of privacy and a sense of welcome. But the current team, both in the office and at the front lobby, has gone above and beyond to create an atmosphere that truly feels like home - it's comfortable, respectful, and secure. Furthermore, their attention to maintaining the building has been impressive. They've promptly addressed issues like the wear and tear in the elevator, which I personally never struggled with despite the complaints from others. The cleaning staff also deserves commendation for consistently keeping the hallways and lobby impeccably clean and pleasantly scented. One aspect I appreciate is the round-the-clock security, along with the convenient access to amenities like the rooftop, gym, and lobby area. Of course, the apartment unit itself is exceptionally modern, attractive, and spotless. I happen to reside in a unit that faces Telegraph Ave, and I find it quite appealing. In terms of potential improvements, I believe there's an opportunity to enhance the lobby area by maintaining a more serene ambiance. While I enjoy upbeat and pop music, I feel that a calmer atmosphere in the lobby would be more conducive to conversations, studying, and work. Overall, my experience with this apartment has been highly satisfying, largely due to the exceptional efforts of the current staff."
"Overall we love our apartment and the staff at The Logan! Alex is SO helpful and kind, and Maithy and Kevin are also wonderful and happy to help wherever they can! I really appreciate this and also love how our neighbors are generally nice and welcoming. Taking off a star for a few reasons - (1) The building is showing some wear and tear like broken tiles in the elevator, it would be such an easy fix! (2) Smoking has been an issue with multiple units on our floor and I would like to see stricter policies/better enforcement on this because it's so unpleasant to have bad odors in our own home :( (3) The rooftop lounge would be so much more pleasant with heat lamps! Previous staff told us this was in the works but it never happened."
