"First of all, Miriam at the reception counter is not very friendly. If she would have asked about our stay I would have told her. The telephone in room 101 didn’t work; the fan in the living room didn’t work; the sliding screen door didn’t slide and fell off the window; we could not adjust the temperature in the room. The worst part was whoever was in the room above us started pounding on the floor at 12am most every night waking us up. One night I think kids were jumping off the beds. We have stayed in much better timeshares"

"Great location, close walk to the beach. Our room was ready when we checked in, they have great parking which is protected (it was raining when we arrived). Our room was clean, the couch and chairs were super comfortable and we had a fireplace (which we didn't use). We could see the ocean from our bedroom and the balcony. Plenty of utensils--they even had salt and pepper! The decor was great and they had ceiling fans (which we love). There were daily activities and I made a tie dye shirt! We love to walk on the beach and did so every day which added to our stay! Pools are heated,"

"Front desk people are great. The room when we checked in was not clean. Although it was great that when we requested the mattress to be checked, they replaced it. We Requested for new towels, our room to be tidied and trash emptied. The trash can was left on top of the TV stand, the new bag of towels was just left on the carpet. We understand the facility is short staffed. I don’t think the service will be less than expected. I wish I requested a vacuum so I can clean the room ourselves. We expected a lot more since this facility increased their HOA fees."

"Downtown Carlsbad is beautiful. It is busy and the streets are narrow but it is a sight to behold driving down the road with the beach on the horizon. Seriously I don't know how far the road actually goes north or south but I found the fact that the beach was right behind some small mountain like dunes to be fascinating. I am from SC and more Upstate than anywhere else and California is where I would like to be. Granted the cost of gas and living prevents that but there is no better scenery nor fresh seafood than in Carlsbad. I highly recommend even if you are just driving through"

"Nice resort! More comfortable than others we’ve stayed at. Fireplace is warm and cozy! The accommodations are perfect for 4, more would be a bit crowded. Wanted to watch football on TV yesterday but couldn’t get 2 of them to work. Maintenance wasn’t able to fix the problem and wanted to come today to fix it. We said just wait until we check out - we hadn’t turned them on before the game and will not watch TV this week while we’re here. Better get them fixed before the Super Bowl!!! We’re enjoying our time here and most likely will return!"
