"I am very disappointed with La Quinta Inn services. My husband and I were a regular Customer since 6 months every week we book at this hotel. Until such time we book for 6 days and we inform the hotel that we cannot check inn on the first day of our reservation due to emergency reason instead will check inn on the second day. La Quinta Inn did not spare us a little consideration with our request and eve cancelled our 6 days fully paid reservation without a refund. in short they don’t valued customer concerns. with that I will no longer availed their services ever again."

"Location is great but neighborhood is kind of sketchy. Hotel puts a great deal of effort into security. Free breakfast includes scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, and waffles. Be aware that everyone pays $125 refundable deposit."

"Rooms were nice. Bed was very comfortable. Room service and maintenance were super on point and fast. They now have a 24hr security guard onsite. Only thing disturbing was the homeless cars an RVs along the front. Totally out of their control."

"Pros are fantastic room for price (way better than the Motel 6 tier), free breakfast, all day coffee, great outside security, good staff, fast check in, closest location to the coliseum, comfy beds and pillows, clean with no smells. Cons are a shady street. BUT that security check in ENSURES no riff raff to come in. Actually might be the safest hotel to park a car because of the stellar check in system that is lacking at the other hotels. The only con is a non-sound proof wall. Ah, but that price... you get a fantastic room. $70 nowadays gets you awful, shady, and bed bugs. Definitely will be the go-to for my work travel. Real value."

"Recently stayed here. Like other reviews mention, the street outside the hotel is lined with a homeless encampment, and the associated humans and detritus that go along with that. Thankfully the actual hotel parking lot is enclosed in a fenced area, with a security guard only allowing controlled access. That being said, the prison-like feel did make us not want to leave the "compound" once checked in, which made getting food/dinner an interesting prospect. I would not want to walk to the nearby Denny's or fast food establishments after dark, for example. The interior of the hotel is undergoing renovation at this time, so there were fresh paint smells emanating from the third floor where we were staying. The clerk was very forthcoming about the state of the hotel as we checked in. The elevator is the only access to the second and third floors, as the staircase is marked emergency only. I would prefer open access to the staircase be made available. The room was good. Some furniture you can see needs to be replaced, and some paint splotches were on the curtains as evidence of recent refurbishment. Note if you have children, none of the windows on the third floor have screens for safety or pest control. The bathroom was excellent, new looking, and clean. The included continental breakfast was also good, with staff constantly about to keep fresh items out. All in all, a good La Quinta hotel. It's really only the outside area that detracts from this location, and the reason we will not be visiting this particular hotel again."
